I've attended Camp Innisfree for 4 years now and I look forward to it every summer. The equestrian program is exceptional and the horses are all well trained and docile. All of the staff, from councilors to kitchen staff are all friendly and welcoming. I have to say that I even miss the meals when I come home, they are excellent. All of the activities are well planned out and fun. The troop lodges are nice and air-conditioned, complete with showers and bathrooms. On the other hand, if staying in a platform tent expect bugs to get in through cracks in the netting. Also the latrines and shower houses can be nasty, but facilities at the dining hall are very nice. The only drawback for some campers may be the walking. Bring your pedometer, Camp Innisfree is spread out over about a thousand acres of forest, so walking long distances should be expected. If your daughter is looking for a memorable and fun-filled summer or ranch camp experience, look no further.

This is my 3rd year going to Innisfree. I loved the water toys, especially the iceberg. They have horses, challenge courses, archery, and biking. The food is really good. The counselors were energetic, but a couple were crabby. There wasn't a lot of personal attention. The latrines were disgusting, but the dining hall bathrooms were very clean. The platform tents and other cabins were clean. They're very good about doing head checks before camp begins. Communication with parents has gotten better over the years. Very good value.
