The camp information on web site and in the brochure was misleading. There was no individual instruction, only two hours of drill ( on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday . There were no drills on Wednesday and Friday.),two hour
scrimmages each day. The girls were supposed to work out with a strength coach. The strength coach talked to the girls once and they never set foot inside a weight room. The information
the coaches provided for how to get recruited by colleges and the
academic qualifications to play hockey in college was superficial at best. Better info on those two subjects is easily found on the Internt. The coaches were never available to the parents and the girls were never given evaluations.
Playing pick-up hockey with the local college guys would have been more beneficial than the U of M girls hockey camp
