My daughter said that they told her when she had asthma attacks that she was faking it. She said that they told her that asthma is not real. She said they took her medication away. She said that her faith in God was questioned because she was homesick. She said she was told she was selfish because she stopped eating because she was not feeling well. She said that the camp director told her to not tell the other girls she was having a bad time. My husband said that they would not open the gate to let him leave and confronted him because he said one sentence to the woman that my daughter said mistreated her. He wanted to leave and they would not open the gate for a time. I sent my daughter to get a blessing, but she got nightmares and lack of trust in people instead. She wanted to be a missionary until she went to this camp. I think that the outgoing girls enjoy the camp, but if your daughter has any health issues and gets homesick...I would not recommend sending her to this camp.
