Do not send your child to this camp. My kid is easy peasy, and this camp did not tend to his health, or call us when health issues arose, did not tend to his needs within that timeframe. Communications home were absent. I would not trust them with the safety and we’ll being of any child.

My daughter is going back for her 3rd summer at LL in 2014. She begs to stay the whole summer and cries when she comes home b/c she misses it. Last summer she stayed the whole 9 wks! It honestly makes me wonder a bit.. My issue now is her siblings want to go since they hear such great things. She does not want them to go a spoil her oasis away from home! I have seen this camp change her each year for the better. Her self confidence is very high when she comes home and she is calm and relaxed. I cannot thank LL enough for providing a dream like place for our daughter to thrive and grow. Long Lake counselors are good about keeping in touch with me weekly. In addition we have a weekly call with our daughter. They met her at the airport and took her back and were very organized. They ensure the kids have a blast and are safe. I cannot say enough good things about it. Lee who runs the camp has been wonderful to work with and the counselors are fabulous!

My son attended Long Lake Adventure Camp during the summer of 2011 and 2012. He absolutely loved the experience both times! This has to be the most awesome camp ever! So much for them to do, they will never be bored! The couselors are amazing and really connect with the kids. They are constanting improving and adding new experiences for them as well, so you know your money goes towards helping them build a bigger and better camp each year your child returns. I recommend this camp to everyone that wants their children to grow up with amazing memories of their childhood! I will be sending my son for the third time during the summer of 2013!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving my son a wonderful experience at your camp. He couldn't stop talking about all the "cool" things he did, white water rafting, ziplining, kayaking into town to go for a plane ride, and best of all (his words) helping to rebuild the muscle car. These are the things 12 year old boys live for. I'd also like to say thank you to his unit leader, Tyler, Tyler was so concerned about my son not eating (extremely picky eater) that he called me to see what he could do to get him to eat, this in addition to the weekly calls from him, where he filled in the gaps left from my son's weekly calls, really helped me feel good about my decision to send him to your camp. I also got a chance to see how the counselors & campers interacted, it was fabulous, the kids really loved to hanging out with them. My son had such a good time, he's asked to go for 6 weeks next year.

My son william had a wonderful time here this past summer. Zip Lining, Water Skiing, Hiking, he did it all and had a "Blast". The Staff were great and my son learned a lot this past year, he is MOST DEFINITELY going back next year. The Drive Uo is Beautiful for the parents by the way.

Can tell from the older ratings that it use to be good...now it is just grown too much. The staff tried and the facilities are very nice but my son went weeks without ever being able to get on an ATV or waterski...the youtube video is a pipe-dream! You get a 5 min call once a week with out kid and a 5 min call with the unit leader where they seem like they are reading from a scrip..."he/she is doing great"..."having lots of fun"...blah blah blah! These calls are poorly scheduled and God forbid if you miss the time slot. For the nearly $4k...there should be so much more! DON'T BUY the promo video or CD...especially now in 2012. Look elsewhere...so sad as it looked so great.

A great place to send your kids. My kids had a blast at this camp, everything was top notch and many adventures to be had. My kids will be returning next summer and many summer's after that.

Beautiful location. My son really enjoyed himself this past summer and he was able to explore his adventrous side. The staff is great and attentive to each camper. My son plans on returning summer 2012
