My daughter says this camp offers less than 1% of the good summer fun she and other kids get at other area camps - like at the JCC. So even at half the cost, this camp offers no value. I think it is most like I've hired a group of teenagers to babysit at the last minute - nothing like an organized camp. The teenage camp leaders pay minimal attention to the kids and pretty much let them go at it and each other all day. Per my kid, the morning song session is like the teenage camp leaders are making fun of summer camps rather than making fun with the summer campers. She says her group leaders do not talk to her or any kids. A pack wild boys formed instead of team building, daily kick the ball instead of sports skills, cheating to win instead of sportsmanship. I wish I'd had a clue before signing up! I pulled my kid out halfway through the session as I am concerned the chaos will eventually result in an injury.

All the kids are kept in a big gym. They don't even have chairs and desks! The staff are just a bunch of teenagers. Just don't go.

There are different types of programs at this facility and Camp Paseo is one that has a little bit of everything. It is mostly swimming, outdoor play, sports such as touch football, baseball, and indoor basketball.

Not enough adult supervision. Not enough activities for kids to do so they swim a lot. Kids are expected to do outdoor activities for extended periods of time in 100 degree weather.

Ill trained high school and teen aged staff members who are careless with the children and their safety. The camp director Buster is rude and refuses to take responsibility for poor safety protocols of the camp and the behavior of his teenage staff members. Advertises itself as a camp with emphasis on swimming but does very little in teaching the children how to swim and in swim safety. Children are left in the pool doing "free swim time" with poor supervision.

The camp is run by high school students with poor supervision and oversight by adults. numerous safety issues are at question: swimmers are not well supervised by high school counselors. staff training is inadequate and accident reports are not made properly to parents.
