Three employees, who were brothers, played a particularly important role in my Sven's happiness and well-being during the summer months. I believe they were all lifeguards/swim instructors, but I may be mistaken. It has been a good number of years. But, I will never forget how kind and helpful they were to my son. If I close my eyes, I can still see three very tall brothers gathered around a picnic table, discussing swim instruction, pool games, and thrash metal. Behind them, a paddle hanging on the poolhouse wall that read, "Counselor-in-Training Beater". But, I know that was for comedic reasons. Maybe...I don't know. Whatever. My Sven loved them and he graduated from blowing bubbles in the shallow end to diving and flip-turns in like 3 summers. And he's now an Olympic medalist. Okay...he's not. He manages a Carl's Jr that's inside a Citgo station. But, he's still a good swimmer. :) RID: 51845
Click to report rating    3/1/18   5     5     5     5     5   I wouldn't send my boys anywhere else. I have been sending my first son here for years, and now my second. They both also attended preschool here. There is no better place! The activities and experiences they have are worth every penny! RID: 51681
Click to report rating    4/9/17   5     5     5     5     5   All three of my children have attended this camp. They do a wonderful of training to staff to make the children feel welcome and excited to come to camp. The camp is very clean, activities are exciting and always changing, the staff is very attentive and the value for the money compared to other camps is good. I love that you can choose any number of weeks and 2,3 or 5 days within the week. I highly recommend this camp!! RID: 50614

I feel so comfortable leaving my children here everyday. The older kids now get to pick electives which mine absolutely LOVE!! Strongly recommend! RID: 47320
Click to report rating    11/22/13   3     4     5     2     4   Just enrolled my children at Rolling Hills. Sad to leave Briar Hill, but it hasn't been the same. RID: 46293
Click to report rating    4/25/13   1     3     3     1     1   My son attended camp here several yrs back & is a very nice & kind kid. He wound up being bullied by a couple of the teenage counselors! I was livid about the situation & spoke to the owner who basically turned a blind eye to the entire situation. They should have been fired on the spot & the next year they once again were working at the camp. I would spend the xtra $ & take your child up the street some to Rolling Hills. A beautiful, much classier fine establishment that unfortunately my son only had the pleasure of enjoying for 1 summer. RID: 44341

Click to report rating    4/2/12   5     5     5     5     5   Camp here is amazing, I was a camper and now a staff member for my 5th year. As a camper I felt safe and at home, everyone gets along and really cares about the campers. The staff is fun and all about making a child's summer more memorable. Camp Briar Hill was one of the best decisions my parents made for my childhood and the best decision I made when I returned as an employee. I cannot wait for camp to start again, a wonderful experience. RID: 40691
Click to report rating    7/28/09   5     5     5     5     5   This is my kids second summer at this camp. Reasonably priced and they really care about your kids at this camp. Staff to child ratio is excellent. They bring in rides, etc for the kids. They just built a sprayground. Love it, kids love it....go take a tour and you'll love it too. I feel that my kids are very safe here too. RID: 30577

Click to report rating    6/30/06   5     5     5     5     5   Family owned, their only concern is the happiness and safety of the children. Staff returns year after year because they love it. Most were campers when they were younger. Smaller and less frills then some of the $$$ camps but great value and a wonderful safe summer. Plenty to do. This is my 2 kids third year. RID: 1226
