We had a terrible experience at this camp last year. I spent more than $1,000 dollars for multiple 2-week sessions at this camp and the staff at the camp made my son utterly miserable. There is a huge emphasis on the bi-weekly show, including rehearsals, that the camp puts on every other Friday. My child does not like to "perform," and the camp counselors were annoyed by this and tried to force my child to perform in the show. When I advised the counsellors that my child really did not enjoy performing and requested that he be allowed to read a book or draw instead of rehearsing and being in the show, they went out of their way to make the experience unpleasant, refusing to allow him to draw on his own paper or read his own book and, instead, making him write in a composition book. Although my child has attended and enjoyed summer camp for the past five summers, last summer I had to force him to go the Y Camp at Camp Pouch every day. Non-performers should steer clear!
