This was the first sleep away camp for my boys in 4rth and 5th grade. They had an amazing experience. The range of activities is extensive and they tried activities they had never done before such as sailing and par kor. They loved the option of going to the lake daily for activities. The kids and counselors were all super nice. Great, well run camp, beautiful setting, amazing activities, well trained staff. Highly recommend.

My three daughters, ages 13, 11 and 8, attended MC last summer and all three gave it two thumbs waaaay up! They are definitely returning again this summer, and counting the days till they do so. Several friends also attended with them, and I heard nothing but positive about the experience. The girls loved their counselors, the food was tasty, fresh and filling, and they were never at a loss for something fun to do at any point during the day or the evening. All three especially enjoyed the water sports, the wakeboarding in particular. The setting (Icehouse Lake) is gorgeous and the cabins are clean, roomy and bright. Scott and Don Whipple, the owners, are involved in every aspect of camp management and are present on site all summer to supervise. As a mom, I feel confident in recommending this camp to other families.
