I love CMW, I have been coming for 6 year. The fod is amazing, the counselors are rlly nice and great at dealing with homesick campers, many people complain about the kapers, but they only take 5 minutes, and are very easy. People also complain about the tents and spiders, but you are in the middle of the woods, of course there are spiders! The food is incredible i could eat it all-year long. The activities are amazing, the challenge tower is so much fun (try and do the 3rd level) the zipline has an amazing view, the blob abd wibbit are so much fun, but the blob can be pretty scary. The arts and crafts are always really original and fun, and all the staff are hughly trained and professional. Yes, you do a lot of singing, but once you know the songs, they can be really fun, never think your too old to sing-along. Overall CMW is amazing and i would totally reccomend it, and its many programs to someone looking for a new camp to go to. Cant wait to go back this summer!

Mosey Wood is an amazing edpearince. Yes some might complain about capers or songs but those are both apart of what make camp the amazing place it is. I highly recommend.

Camp Mosey wood is by far the best overnight camp I have goneto??. They have so many activities to choose from, like swimming boating., challenge courses and arts and crafts. There is something for everyone here. Even though some people complain about there being Latrens and bugs, we are in the outdoors and it's like you are staying in a 5 star hotel. All of the staff is so nice and they comfort you if you are sad, and really try to get to know everyone. The food is good and there are plenty of options if you do not like what is being served. All in all, there is not one bad thing I could say about this camp??

Camp Mosey wood has been my favorite summer camp for the past 10 years. To those of you complaining about the fact that you are in tents, or that there are bugs in the tents, please remember that you are camping. In the middle of the woods. There will be bugs. To those of you saying that the counselors hated you, they were probably annoyed that you were complaining about trivial things, like the food or the fact that you have to sing after meals. It's really hard to be nice to someone who complains to you all the time (especially about things that you can't control!) While I understand that you think that the latrines are gross (I think that they're kinda gross too) you do get used to them. To those complaining about kapers- you can't just expect the counselors to do everything for you. Kapers are not "ridiculous"-having the campers do them teaches responsibility. I have always been treated well there. I love the food, and the new challenge tower and zipline are amazing!

Mosey Wood is AMAZING. For all who are saying it's awful are wrong its one of the best places I've ever been to. So what about the bugs? You learn to deal with them. The zipline across the lake and the ropes course has to be my favorite part! Its so beautiful! The food is delicious and if you somehow happen to not like the meal there is always a salad bar and pb and j sandwiches in the afternoon and for dinner and a breakfast bar including poptarts and yogurt. The counselors are amazing and really funny! They helped me and my friend when we were homesick and talked to us. The showers are actually really nice as well as the tents.The songs are awesome and I felt at home here. Go with a buddy its even more fun! Mosey wood is my second home!

CMW was my first sleepaway camp and I was so excited for it. However, it was the worst thing. We slept in weird tents that had lots of bugs. when i did sleep, they woke us up. IT WAS LIKE 5AM. (I HAD A WATCH) Anyway,the food was vile and unsanitary. They made us sing before, during, and after every meal. Look up CMW songs on google and youll see how awful it was. It said that you could choose your activities, but we couldn't. The lake was nasty. While i was there, i saw legit logs of human poo floating around. There was even snakes. When we were changing in the changing hut, my friend, who went with me to CMW, stepped in poop. IT WAS IN OUR CHANGING STALL. She had to throw out everything. When we told the counselor, she informed us that "it was mud". After we went swimming,we saw people in heavy cleaning gear in our stall. IT WAS POOP, NOT MUD!!! when we picked blueberries, paddle boarding, and showers were the only good things. DON"T GO TO CMW. ITS A WASTE OF TIME&MONEY. DONT DO IT!!

i was misereable here. The 1st night i was homesick and the councilers did nothing. We had to do "Kapers" which is chores. Clean toilets, pick up fire wood when there is piles and piles, sweep, and more rediculous things. We probaly sand 100 songs in 1 day. Before and after breakfast, before and after lunch, and before DURING and after dinner. We also had to do more chores after each meal. I went with my friend and we wanted to leave. We were in Katniss Kamp and did nothing to deal with THG. when it was pouring outside, the tent flaps were open. The councilers hated me and my friend. If someone did something they were not supposed to, the councilers did not bother. If me or my friend did we got in trouble. I did not enjoy it here at all.

Amazing I would recommend this camp to everyone who loves the outdoors exploring making friends or all three I am returning for my 7 th year camping and I would go nowhere else you can really bond with the counselors wnd the week goes by really fast. The food is also amazing and I could eat this the whole year Even though you have to do capers which are kind of like cleanup jobs they are not that hard and go by fast because you can do them with a buddy of your choice and sometimes three other friends. Again I would recommend this camp for everyone. They give you just the perfect amount of personal attention and rest time which you have an hour a day everyday where you can rest in your can unit. The cost of mosey wood is also really respnable which is 300 dollars for six days including food. You also don't have to be a Girl Scout to join. You just have to pay the membership fee which is like 15 dollars. I WOULD NEVER TRADE MY EXPERIENCE AT MOSEY WOOD FOR ANYTHING EVER!!!!

I loved camp mosey wood. The staff were nice. The food was FANTASTIC. The actives were great. We got just enough free time and attention. Every girl should get to go to camp mosey wood.

Camp mosey wood is awesome they have wonderful food and a cool lake BEST CAMP EVER!! ...... JUST KIDDING THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST CAMP EVER IT IS LIKE LIVING IN HELL FOR A WEEK THEY MADE ME AND MY SISTER CLEAN THE BATHROOMS EVER SINGLE DAY THE FOOD TASTE LIKE ***** and the pudding they served us was from a can I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMP TO ANY ONE IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!!!

MoWo needs no introduction. It is just an amazing camp. I love it so much and would go there all summer if they had horses and a pool. They make up for it though with great tents and decks, air conditioning in the dining hall, a great professional kitchen, boating, rock climbing, a high ropes course, roller skating, great hiking trails, and the blob. I recommend this camp for any camper who is willing to swim in the lake. I just love MoWo

This was by far the worst 5 days of my life. I wanted to run away, but I was afraid the unstable conselers would catch and torture me as they already were. I slept in a wet, smelly tent taken over by daddy long legs. Each day we had to do "capers" and of course, each day I got put on latrine duty. I did not use the facilities that whole week due to the uncleanliness of the ditch toilets. The letters from my family and friends were by far the highlight of my week, next to, of course, showering, the 10 minutes each day I got alone and away from the freak show I was currently living. My 3 tent-mates and I used the back of a letter from one of their parents, to use as a daily countdown to the end of that dreadful nightmare. In a nutshell, the conselers were moody and lazy, I had to walk 10 miles in the dark to get o my tent, and the meals were a health hazard to the majority of the campers. I did not have fun at this camp, and I do NOT reccommened this to ANY family on the planet earth.
