What Camp Carlquist has going for it is its excellent staff. Staff are knowledgeable about scouting and the outdoors, energetic and role model the positive values of the scouting program. The addition of the new cabins was a needed addition because the rest of the facility is in need of some TLC. The food is middle of the road camp food, stuff kids love but hard on an adults digestive system. None the less, Camp Carlquist is a blast for the kids.
