I have been going to OPC since I was 10 years old, and in my opinion it is THE best place to spend the summer. Over the years I have made amazing friends, campers and staff alike, and I have learned so much about myself, life in general, and my relationship with Jesus. OPC is an amazing environment for growth, and it is also a really fun camp! Staff members aren't afraid to be silly, and the themes/program for each session always provide great memories for me each time. There are so many different activity opportunities, like high ropes, crafts, archery, kayaking... the list goes on! I would highly reccomend Pioneer camp to anyone seeking a loving Christian environment and an unforgetable place to spend their summer!! (note: while I am presently a staff member, I am not speaking solely from that perspective- I also spent 6 consecutive years as a camper and loved it each time, no matter who I interacted with and what activities I took!)

hey, this camp rocked i loved it,but for two weeks it was exspensive!!plus the staff didn't pay much attention to you and the only way you could get that back was if you were a "special child" i quote from a friend. oh and also the food was great!!!!lol

Really did not meet any expectations. I have been to this camp for some time now, but it was sincerely the worst experience of my life. Staff are abusive, slanderous, and gossip amongst eachother about campers, and other staff. They have no regard for authority, and they care more about themselves, then the children they are supposedly "serving". Some christian camp. doesnt it say in the bible that gossip hurts?

This camp is da bomb. all the councillors are great and they take the time to get to know you whether wou are in their cabin or not. camp is generally clean. makes religion fun.BOYS CAMP RULES. yeah, its a good camp.

Most amazing camp ever! I've only been going for three years but it's pretty much changed my life. I can't wait to go to LIT next summer. The staff are the nicest people I've ever met!

Ok well, the leaders were awesome, but the chalets not so much.. i didn't like the fact that the walls were made of cloth.

I have been attending this camp since I was 5. I am now a leader and it has changed my life. I rate this perfect among the religious camps and the most life-changing. It is an amazing experience for all.

Staff are sensitive, fun and very aware of kids needs. The lake and site are beautiful, they have extensive equipment and my kids loved the food. Both kids received their swimming levels during their stay there. Great experience all-round and we will be back!

I went on a school trip to this camp and it sucked it was very dirty the staff was mean and wierd the activties sucked, it cost too much money,the food was terrible,and in my opinion they were too religious on everything i mean not everyone is christian,I just couldnt stand being at this camp for 2-3 days because it sucked badly and i do not want to go back there at all anymore
