Click to report rating    4/18/09   5     5     5     5     5   Cairn is always the highlight of my year; in the thirteen years that I've been attending I've never been disappointed. It's a faith based camp, but I've also brought friends who did not go to a Presbyterian Church or church and all and they still had a blast. It also provides non-faith based programming for large groups and school groups in the spring and fall. The staff at Cairn are of the highest calibre and the special touches they add to each campers experience make it unforgettable. Cairn also works with Reach for the Rainbow to successfully integrate special needs campers right into the program. All in all this is a unique camp that provides the best service possible for families and children, and at a great price. Anybody who attends is sure to have a good time. RID: 29511
Click to report rating    11/18/07   5     5     5     5     5   Going to Cairn for many years, I could not be happier with the time I’ve spent there. The many activities, faith-based or otherwise, have grown my faith in the Lord more than I can ever describe and have allowed me to have as much fun as possible as a camper. The people are what truly make Cairn the Utopia that it is; never in my life have I met anyone as considerate as Cairn’s staff and campers. The environment creates a mutual feeling of compassion, faith and equality. The most meaningful experience for me was the month I spent in the Leader-in-Training (LIT) programme at Cairn. Throughout the month all 15 of us bonded in a way that would never have happened outside of camp. I am extremely grateful that we were able to develop our friendship to the extent we did for, as one of my fellow LITs has stated, we went into the month as a group and came out a family. I love the people of Cairn as my family, more than anyone else in the World, for Cairn truly is the greatest place on Earth. RID: 17219
Click to report rating    8/22/07   5     5     5     5     5   Cairn offers so many programs that everyone will find something they like. Great for the parents is the cost is low compared to others like it. The staff are wonderful - both professional and enthusiastic. Every child should get to spend a week at camp. RID: 14349
Click to report rating    8/9/06   5     5     5     5     5   Glen Mhor a.k.a Cairn is the best =). The sense of community combined with christianity provides for the best atmosphere I've ever been in. So many great friends there, and the counsellors really know what they're doing =D. In a word, Cairn is incredible RID: 1914
Click to report rating    7/26/06   5     4     5     5     5   This camp has definitly changed me as a person. I learned a lot through the bible studies, and a lot from the people around me. The staff have always made being at camp fun. When I went for the first time, it was my first overnight camp, I'll never forget it. I've made so many new friends and everyone made me feel right at home and back on track. I loved camp Cairn, and anyone who doesn't like this camp, is just plain crazy. The staff, the activities, the camp in general, are why kids come back for years later. RID: 1618
Click to report rating    7/11/06   5     5     5     4     5   I've been going to Glen Mhor, newly named Cairn for years. It has a wonderful atmosphere where the influence of christianity can be clearly felt without beating your child over the head with it. The staff are of the highest caliber and they have an excellent program for people with special needs. On that note, it is one of the few places where young people and people with special needs are integrated which helps break down barriers and encourages children to be more accepting. Cairn offers a wide variety of activities for very little money and it is well worth checking out. RID: 1352
