best summer camp ever, my children stated that the director was always seen, especially for "COLOR WAR". i have already said yes to my kidS going next summer and will hope this becomes a family tradition. thank you so much B.R.D.C

I am so happy to see the positive comments, but shocked by most of the negative ones. Spending summers there for years and leaving a negative comment? Why would you go back each year ,if you weren't satisfied? This camp is way beyond my expectation. Amazing curriculum, friendly and professional staff and the whole place is breathtaking. Children are getting tennis-, swim, basketball, hockey, soccer ... lessons, eating healthy, delicious lunch with so many different food to choose from. Fishing, tracking, boating, Arts and crafts... There are many age appropriate activities for all age group throughout the days. The owner is the kindest, most professional person that I ever known. I don't think that I would find a better camp for my daughter. I'm so thankful to them for creating these awesome, lifetime memories for us. Thanks Blue Rill Day Camp!!

Blue Rill isn't about how nice the facilities are, it's what the child makes of their time at camp. I have gone since I was 8. Every year gets better with more freedom and closer relationships with friends. Counselors are great, and the head staff always tries their best to make sure your child gets to do their favorite camp activities. Campers will never regret their time at this camp as long as they put themselves out there and allow themselves to make friends. Blue Rill really does end up being family.

There is nothing to do everyday you do the same thing, its gross, and someone said that the girls are japs well you must be rilly(really broke) to say that because all the kids lived in small houses in mahwah.Also, they put no money in that camp the soccer feilds have rocks in the middle of it and i broke my ankle playing soccer. Do not send your children to that nasty camp, and the owners are cheapscapes and makes us stay in low class hotels like the holiday inn. Who wants to stay there? Lastly,as soon as I arrived i thought it was a weightloss camp because everyone it fat, and the consleurs are b****es. In conclusion, ddddddddooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnooooooot send your child here, they will have a horrible time

I love it their so much!!! I miss my friends a lot though. I love everything except that like a lot of camps they don't have a reunion. The fields are great and it;s the best camp ever!!

My children went to this camp for a couple of years and I was not very pleased with it. the facilities are OK, but i feel that the staff could have been a lot better. there are also a wide variety of activities to choose from.

My kids had a truly smashing time at BLUE RILL AHHHHH! That's what we always say when we tell other people about this camp, the whole routine, the loud voice with the scream. We may get gonbasish looks from others but from Blue Rill we learn that the truth beckoners of the subserviate staff shall always be slipjack-patio'd. I feel like I'm rambling, but I just have to say that I am currently trying to persuade the Ramapo lawmakers to make marraige between humans and places (Blue Rill for example) legal. On a lighter note I would like to add that those who've never attended medieval times hawked has been missing out. BLUE RILL AHHHHH!

At first i asked myself why is this camp worth so much money? After seeing the 2 basketball courts and 3 crummy baseball fields, i must say i was not sold. But then i laid my eyes on outdoor adventure and i realized how important it is for my child to learn how to make smores incase he ever found himself lost in the wild. Of course, there was that one time when I was abducted by pirates off the coast of Somalia after they hijacked my cargo ship filled with marshmellows. I eventually paid off my ransom by making the entire crew smores like they've never had before. I must say tho that this camp's quality has degraded at an alarming rate and all of their best staff have left after the new ownership teated them like dirt. This camp used to run on the princaple of the staff bieng one "family", but they progressivley went behind the backs of their "family members" and stabbed them in their backs.

i worked at this camp for a couple years after returning from a hiatus as a camper. i am a male horse-back rider and thanks to blue rill my skills have greatly improved. my only gunk with this camp is that they changed adminstrators for divisions irrationally...they put "the rulemeister" incharge of an age group that needs guidance and compassion not somebody in your face about insignificant things. overall, being away in upstate new york for college and rigourous stallion training has reminded me that blue rill, hate it or love it, will always keep us humble.

What an awesome place! Blue Rill really delivers on what they promote. My kids had so much fun and really became a part of the camp family. They keep in touch with their Blue Rill friends all year long. the new pool complex is beautiful and huge and each year it seems they improve their facilities. Their staff is very caring and this year we really liked all of the communications that came home, phone calls and weekly newsletters. It seems they truly care about each camper. I really recommend this camp, great for older kids too, terrific optional trips are available. It's just a great camp!

Blue Rill is my second home!!! I have been going there since I was in "A"(kindergarden)!!! I have never missed a summer and I plan not 2!!! It is my 15th summer at blue rill and will not spend my summers anywhere else!!! I am 100% sure that my blood is blue and gold!!! GO BLUE RILL!!!

My kids went here for 3 years. They were bored by the time they were 6 and 8. They figured out early on that they do the same things year in and year out. A lot of arts and crafts, and a lot of ga ga. Sorry, but don't want to pay all that $$ for them to be playing ga ga. The facilities are ancient. The counselors always seemed overwhelmed with the amount of kids they had in their groups. The place was overcrowded, and after Susan and Howie left, the camp was not the same as far as being warm and friendly. The activities are great for ages 3-7. After that you really are WASTING your $$$

i went to blue rill for 5 years and it was a waste of time. i got o a sleepaway camp now and its is 1000 times better. i wish i left blue rill younger to go to sleepaway. its amazing there. dont go to day camp it isnt fun and its for little kids. i went when i was younger and it was ok but i still think that sleepaway camp is better and that you shouldnt go to day camp

Blue Rill is my home away from home. It's going to be my 12th summer at camp and I absolutely love it! I went as a camper for 9 years and this will be my third summer as a counselor and it's honestly my favorite place on earth. When camp comes to an end every summer I am the first one to start counting how many days until the next summer (today there is only 160 days left until summer '08!) Some of my best friends I made are from Blue Rill. Also so many of my role models in life have been some of my counselors I've had. Blue Rill has changed my life in so many ways and I couldn't imagine my life without it. This is the best camp there is and ever will be!

its an ehhhhh camp, not to many great activities. after a while it gets really boring. if you are in 5th through 9th grade, Blue Rill is not the place for you, all the activities are for little kids

i have been going to blue rill for 10 summers now. the staff is nice and puts in a lot of time and hard work to make each summer worth caomming back the next. the kids are really nice and i have made tons of friends over the years. we go on the best trips and have the best activities to keep us entertained for the summer. blue and gold games are the best!!! my blood will always run blue and gold forever

BLUE RILL!! that was the besst actvivity day camp i have ever been to! the counselors were SOOOOO NICE!!! I made long lasting friendships for a long time i will never forgott them. There are so many fun activity's. Its such a fun experince. I will never forgott all my friends and funny moments that i have had. The snack bar there is a big hit i try to go there everyday. lunches are great also.! I still always miss my old counclers from years be for. There is so much to do feild trips its a soomething you will never forgett. YOu will learn do and have fun In sooooo much. I remember this is my 5 year going 2 blue rill!!! I remember me and my friend we always uses to get injureese and we would alawys get into mischef and always be going to the nurse to get a sponge. The pool is nice you have to pass a test to get into the deep end though! IF YOU WANTED TO CHECK OUT THIS CAMP I WOULD DEFIDENTLY PUT THIS AT THE TOP. THIS CAMP IS SOOOOO MUCHHH FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

I went to Blue Rill as a camper, and then I worked there as a counselor. I am now in education and realize how important a place like that is. If I still lived in the area, I would still be working there in the summer, and my kids would spend every summer there. I really is a great place.
