I have been going here since I was in middle school (I am in 11th grade now). It was so much fun when I was younger, but last year I had a terrible experience. The staff are all very rude, and you are treated like a middle schooler, regardless of your age and maturity level. I would only recommend this camp to 6-9 graders.

My daughter attended the UNCG Music Camp this past summer. We never expected she would be harmed and never anticipated such poor response from the people we dealt with in trying to understand how this could have happened.
We learned that the campers are permitted to go off campus unsupervised during their free time. On one such occasion my daughter was tripped by another camper. There were no adults present. The UNCG nurse who treated her failed to call us or diagnose her fractured wrist. No investigation or report was filed and there was no attempt to determine who tripped her or to contact us to let us know of her fall.
The camp director told us that he was unaware of the incident and why didn't my daughter report it to the staff (which she did). He refused to contact the parents of the boy who tripped our daughter until weeks and weeks later after the campus security police directed him to do so.
Safety is a big concern with this camp. It is not worth the ris

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this camp. I look foward to it every summer and always plan my summer so that I can go. It is the best thing ever and you learn a ton about music. YAY MUSIC CAMP!!!
