If you want to have some fun and make new friends, come to Greenwood Trails. Enjoy the camp fire, the water inflatables, and flying trapeze. The best aspects of Greenwood Trails are the personal connections you make as a camper with the other campers, counselors, and the director. You can build new skills in areas of interest that you have always wanted to take a chance on learning. It is safe and thoughtful and inclusive of others. It's a break from being online in any way and you can learn so much about different activities around the scenic, natural camp community.

My ten year old son tried trapeze this past summer and did a catch on it on parents' visitation day! I couldn't believe it! The staff was great communicating with us during our kids' first summer there and helped ease them very well. They were very sensitive to my son's multiple allergies. My eight year old daughter moved more at her own pace and enjoyed different activities like science and arts and crafts. Both want to return for four weeks next summer after attending for two weeks this summer.

This is an unusual camp because the owners and the staff embody the psychological health that I as a therapist value for my child. If you want your children to be compassionate, kind people, this is the camp for you.

Daughter went for two weeks last summer and absolutely loved it. Our son went to rookie camp the same later that summer. I didn't really expect that he would go back as he's a bit of a homebody but he came home begging to go back! This year we sent them both. They don't usually get along at home but the activities are planned in a way that everyone will get along. There's no bullying, no snobbery, the staff are in touch with the campers and parents ahead of time and have a plan for your camper during that session. Staff is caring, pays attention to detail & keeps every minute jam packed with amazing activities. They do have a rest time each day but everything is done in a way so your camper won't get too homesick. Each camper is encouraged to try new things & gets recognition on their walking stick each year for doing so. According to our kids (picky eaters), the food is out of this world. The plays are great, communication is excellent. Facilities are improving. A very special camp.

My daughter attended for 2 weeks last summer (2011) and will return for 4 weeks in 2012. Love the 2, 4 or 6 week offerings. Lovely staff. Pretty setting and great camp vibe. The staff does a great job of keeping kids busy with fun activities. Great cost value too.
