I've been a camper at the Heart for 10 years, and it was the best decision I have ever made. It is without a doubt my second home, and I've made friendships that will last a life time. The staff is fantastic, and I LOVE having old campers as counselors, and all of the foreign staff are so sweet and fit right in. I completely credit the person I am today to this beautiful camp :)

Hiring Camp America counselors is just a bad idea. It seems to be the downfall of HoH and many formerly good camps. Many of these foreign counselors do not have the same value system of my family. Why can't they hire former campers like Mystic and Waldemar?

I go to this summer camp and it is a wonderful place to meet new people. It is right on the Guadulupe river. You get choose your activites with there is w wide veriaty. Also the facilitiy members are great people who will touch your hearts. i fully recommend this camp for your children to go to.
