I have no idea why there are any bad reviews- maybe things have changed in recent years..I worked here and loved every second of it. The facilities are incredible, the horses are top-notch and well taken are of, and the staff get great perks like riding lessons and experience in stable management. The kids are so fun and just happy to be there. Yes it is hard work and long days and that is the reality of any job in the horse industry- horses come first! Great experience and the best summer of my life!! Highly recommend

I never ever write reviews or give feedback but seriously DO NOT WORK THERE. The staff was awful, I got bullied, it was truly terrible. The horses are cute but it's not worth it.

I worked here the summer of 2015. The kids have it good, but I do not recommend working here. Among the staff, there is so much hatred and negativity. They palpably form cliques and do not like each other. My year, there was one staff member where inappropriate pictures were taken of her and sent around in a group chat. The staff who did this were not reprimanded and came back following years. I am not writing this to be spiteful, but I am writing it to warn others to be wary of environments like these. You are the counselors, barn hands, and riding instructors so the job is incredibly demanding. Furthermore, it's basically a hotel for campers. They do not learn work ethics or any barn skills. Parents, your child will probably have a good time, but know your money is not going to the staff; we get paid almost nothing considering this is one of the most expensive camps in the country. Without reviews like these, I worry there will be no reform. Mean girls led by meaner management.
