Click to report rating    4/29/23   1     5     5     1     3   If you or your child would not feel comfortable having your child share a sleeping space or bathhouses with someone struggling with same-sex attraction or someone of the opposite gender, or having a counselor who is overtly living as another gender or as a homosexual, then this is not the camp for you. The camp's policy is to allow people to choose their own gender when assigning which gendered cabin they should be placed in. They have no concerns about hiring counselors who are struggling with same-sex attraction and placing those counselors into the same cabin with children of the gender they are attracted to. And they do not inform parents that their child will be in this situation. RID: 53705

Click to report rating    4/25/14   5     4     5     5     5   Camp Greenville is a 100+ year old camp in the Blue ridge Mountains. They know what they are doing, and my child loves going there every summer! It's a camp, so the facilities aren't supposed to be like a Hilton hotel, but some of the cabins are a little dated. But I hear they're about to do some major renovations. Can't wait for that! The staff is great, the food is good and healthy, my child always comes back from camp energized and more confident.
