This camp is so worth the money. The show at the end of three weeks was amazing. I remember when Lauren was there very talented girl as was Olivia. RID: 48760

First, you do not need to be at this camp for more than 2 years to get a lead role. Last years program had mostly new kids. I know as a fact that Lauren has been there 4 years and she has amazing talent and is very seasoned in acting. This is Olivia A's second year and she did get a lead last year. This is Michael and Allie's first year at WTC. Annie is a musical and the staff is capable of choosing the best possible people to play these parts based on different criteria. You need to be good at singing, acting, and dancing to play the part. I don't blame them for picking some of these kids because they know that they will do a fantastic job. My daughter did not get a lead part either but I know that the lead characters need to be seasoned and very solid. The audience will not be disappointed! For those who didn't get the part they wanted, they should keep in mind what they are looking for and brush up on their theatrical RID: 41764
Click to report rating    7/12/12   1     5     4     2     2   I went to this theatre camp in the summer of 2012. I am currently still in it. We are putting on the production of Annie Jr. When I learned this I was excited hoping to be either Annie or one of the orphans. Obviously hoping for Annie isn't really realistic for me...it is my first year. So I was hoping to be one of the lead orphans. But, sooner or later I realized that you could only get one of the lead roles if you had been there a couple years. You may ask why and the answer is... THE STAFF ONLY GIVE LEAD ROLES TO STUDENTS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE A WHILE AND THAT THEY LIKE. In other words they are favorited. This year Olivia A. who has been there for two years but is friends with Lauren Fraser who has been there for 6 or 7 years got Annie, Lauren got Ms.Hannigan and Michael who is best friends with Lauren got to be Warbucks. Of course me along with many of my buddies are extra orphans or servents I mean really... you can always tell how good you are. They make it obvious.Do NOT go here RID: 41682
