Love love this camp! So much fun! I've been going when I was 8 years old which is the youngest age you can be. I'am now 15 and this will be my last year as a camper:( I've made many friends that I talk to weekly. My favortie memories are the dance that they have on thursday night. Anyone who wants a fun filled week go to this camp. Yes the (girls) bathroom are a little ehh... but your at camp! Who cares. I heard from my brother that they boys were about the same as the girls.

I went to Ycamp for two years, and it was great! The only problem was that the bathrooms were awful, and the people I shared a cabin with(both years), were mean!

I don't think some of these reviewers are talking about the same camp! Y-camp is awesome! We get up in the morning, sing songs at the flag, eat breakfast, clean up the cabin, have 2 activities/classes, then lunch, rest time, snack/free time, 2 more classes, dinner, last class, then evening program and bed! The day is filled, but fun so it goes by fast. The staff is awesome! So many international staff members! Especially this year. The facilities are good, except the showers/bathrooms, but you can't expect neat, clean bathrooms at a camp. There are plenty of fun activities and they ask for ideas on new programs to add. The place is beautiful, the lake is great, the songs are fun, the staff is awesome, the people are nice and it's easy to make lots of friends if you have an open mind. It's P! A-R-T-Y, it's party time and you you know Y!!!! :) :) :) Y-Camp rocks!

Blehh I went there once two years ago. I found it a little long and I wanted to go home by teh end of four days (I was theer for four weeks) My counsler was MEAN! And I only made one friend I still talk to once in a blue moon. I think they just put us places sometimes just so they didn't have to deal with us. And the classes were too repeditive! Like school.

Beautiful grounds and buildings. Open House delighted parents with very engaging, enthusiastic counselors. However, actual camp was a very different experience. There were younger counselors who were lazy and didn't follow the daily program. INSTEAD OF: daily chant, morning hike, snack, crafts, games, lunch, activities with counselors (crafts, sports, nature), free swim, canteen, cleanup and sundown chant, THE FOLLOWING ACTUALLY HAPPENED: play in sandpile, snack, free swim, lunch, play in sandpile, snack, swim lesson, maybe 1-2 games or a movie, play in sandpile. The advertised BBQ was cxl'd because they "couldn't find any food". They had 1 craft all week, about 4 games, and nothing else except swim and playing in a sandpile. NO hikes or advertised scavenger hunt. Parents who came to pick up their kids often found them alone with no counselors in site. YOUNG kids, ages 5,6,7ish with no adult supervision. Unfortunately, THAT was my kid's 1st (and last) experience at this camp.
