The staff were constantly putting you down and displaying inappropriate behaviors and neglecting the kids. The camp owner fostered an atmosphere of fear, gaslighting and neglect. People were constantly demeaning, sabotaging, neglecting, disrespecting, and putting others down. The bullies were not corrected by the camp owner, but instead, the staff seemed to make alliance with the bullies and would disrespect, neglect, and demean the kids themselves. The whole social atmosphere was very low quality and inappropriate. It was like a bunch of hill billies decided to start a camp without any formal education or training. American camps were so much better. RSM Camp should have been shut down by the regulatory authorities in my opinion due to the stuff the owner and staff did. Just my opinion though. I only went there ten years in a row every summer because 1-2 of my friends went there that is all.

You will never find a place like this. It's not just a camp, it's a community, a home. If you have any doubts about finding good friends or fitting in, it will all change when you take your first step into this camp. No judging and it doesn't matter if you're not russian or a math scholar....this camp is a lot more than that. The people you meet here are more than amazing, they become the true friends that you will stay in touch with forever. Activities range from all sports to many options of arts and crafts; there's something for everyone. And all of the counselors are amazing; they truly care about you. It'll leave you with a new perspective on life. When you're at this camp, it feels as if you are in a different world, secluded from everything around us. When you return the following year, it'll feel as if you never left. Sure you may get homesick at camp, but you'll get even more homesick when you leave this place:)

Best camp I've ever been to. This camp has the best and most accepting atmosphere you will ever see, and the best part is you don't even have to be Russian to go there. (and this is a secret but there is barely any math. ya almost no math at a math camp imagine that its just CAMP)

Camp RSM is everyone who has ever attended's home away from home. No way to better put it. The best way to spend your summer and make wonderful memories.

This camp has really good staff. When I was homesick my counselors did SO MUCH to comfort me. The facilities aren't the best. In 2010 Summer, the showers broke down many times...we had to shower in the lake. The activities.....you will NEVER find anything better than the fun you will get at Camp RSM. I bet you MY LIFE and ALL THAT I OWN... that you will go there, and you will LOVE it. The personal attention is also at its best. Like I said, counselors care about you as if they you were their children. Out of 10 this camp is about a .... 20!! Plz go there. You will meet terrific people. Also.... This camp is called technically "Math Camp". When I came there I was so worried that it would be some crazy geeky and nerdy camp that does math 24/7. But I was WAY WAY wrong. They only do math an hour a day after lunch only 5 days a week (they don't do it on Sat. and Sun.) Speaking of lunch....the food is terrific... it is never junk food... You can always go up for seconds so food is not someth

This camp is so awesome! You make so many new friends and the counselors are great. Its a little dirty but makes it feel like a real camp experience. The math isnt that bad because you work with friends. My biggest and only complaint is the food. Beware: it is not good! But don't worry the rest of the amazing camp makes up for it! I have made so many lifelong friends at this place.

I LUV CAMP RSM!!! BEST CAMP EVER!!! YOu will have so much fun here, regardless of the math, and it really makes you feel like you awre part of a community. In other camps that i've been to, none of the campers even know each other, but in Camp RSM, everyone knows each other, and you fit in right away. If you are bored in the summer, seriously consider going to this camp, because you willhave the best summer of your life!

"mediocre camp at best"? psh, no, best camp ever, good place to meet new people and get new friends. it is its own society and i love coming there to get away from the boring life i live, always something to do there. this camp is love.

wonderful camp. very little personal attention for those who don't have particularly interesting personalities. activities are as marvelous as the staff who lead them. facilities are lovely when the campers feel the need to take care of them. easy to make friends and these are the friends that will last forever. if you need personal space and privacy, this is not the place for you. otherwise, it's perfect.

I have absolutely no complaints with this camp whatsoever. It's a community of amazing people in which great things happen. I would encourage anyone considering applying to it to do so ASAP, this camp is something you don't want to miss.

Absoutly an amazing camp no doubt about it. The counselors and the rest of the staff work extremly hard to make it an amazing experience for all. The staff contains extremly enthusiastic people who make the camp more up-beat and exciting. The facilities are great. They give the camp a true camp vibe. Activities are awesome. There are insane amounts of things you can chose from. Anything from wrestling and boxing to ballroom dancing. You learn a lot of responsibility in this camp as well as how to take care of your own area. Its an awesome camp i recommend it for everyone! Oh and the math is not bad at all. It is a normal camp just an hour of math each day except weekends. Its not tedious at all.

With the main focus being math, this camp does not obsess over it. There is only about an hour of math a day, with the rest of the day consisting of sports and other fun activites. There also is an excellent theatre program. Major productions include Grease and Chicago. Most campers are of Russian descent, but there is a handful of non-Russians who are very well integrated with the rest of the camp. Located on the former campground of the Golden Arrow camp and the Sunapee Arts Camp, it is situated on Baptist pond in Springfield, NH.
