I have been a camper at the Phoebe Needles Center for seven amazing summers; sadly, it's my last year as a camper here. It has absolutely changed my life. The staff is always friendly, and often from countries abroad. Campers enjoy many activities ranging from arts and crafts to rock climbing, hiking, caving, camping, volunteering, archery, paintball, swimming, and high ropes and low ropes courses. Great food and set in the beautiful mountains of Callaway Virginia. People here make great lasting relationships, and learn great skills in friendship and socializing. Very organized and well run, the administration is phenomenal. I would not be the same person without the Phoebe Needles Center, and would never change a thing.

Phoebe Needles is one of the greatest camps ever. The groups are small and the staff is highly trained in every aspect of the job. They pay attention and are friends with the campers so no problems go unnoticed. It can be a high adventure camp with lots of friendship and leadership skills being made. It can change a child's life by attending. It has very up to date and great facilities with a high ropes and low ropes course along with archery range, basketball court, and swimming pool. It may be a small camp but it is a close knit community with lots of love, fellowship, friendship, and leaders.
