Love this camp so much. I love the staff and activities there! The staff is amazing, they make sure every camper feels safe and welcome to the enoviorment. The activities are unlike anything else, kids can enjoy something from dance and cheer to cross country or even water activities like fishing, canoeing and so much more. It’s also a great place for kids from all over the US to bond. The kids look forward to seeing there friends all year. I highly recommend this camp!

Camp Cheerio is the most amazing place on earth. This summer will be my 9th going and my last year as a camper. My counselors have always been great and attentive. All of the activities are so fun and the location is gorgeous. Not only is Cheerio a camp for fun, but it is a camp that let's you find who you really are and helps you become a better person. I will never forget the friends I've made at cheerio and I know they will never forget me. I have a family on that peaceful mountain top and I thank God every day for it.

love love love love love this camp! gone there for 6 years! great cabins and activity's. i loved my counselors so sweet! i missed everyone so much after! highly recommend this camp to everyone! and theres an all girls session. but i like coed.

Cheerio couldn't be any better of a camp! I went for 3yrs as a camper and 1yr(so far)as staff and it is honestly impossible for me to put into words how amazing of an experience it has been for me. Cheerio is my home. I've heard from countless people of camp being both home and a sanctuary to them. I personally also know a few people, as well as myself, say how it has saved their life in a number of ways along with that it has made them the person they are today. I could go on forever about how truly amazing it is but there's one last thing I want to throw out there. Camp is only as fun as you make it. You can't go with a closed mindset and wonder why you didn't enjoy it. The whole idea of any camp is to not be afraid to go out there and try new things and I PROMISE. There is something for everyone at Cheerio. It's even their goal for each kid to leave camp a better person. It even says so on the site. Other then that Cheerio only gets better with each and its no doubt worth the try.

I LOVE Camp Cheerio! This year will be my 4th year. I go to 2C. I've always been to co-ed. It is fun because their is a concert and a dance! You can also go places like Carowinds (a theme park) if you choose to sign up. I would totally recommend this camp! It's easy to make friends- and the counselors are awesome!

This camp is absolutely amazing! I have gone since i was 11 and love everything. Sometimes you aren't given the up most attention, but there are hundreds of kids, its not all about you sometimes. But i love camp cheerio and would recommend it to everyone.

I just got back from session 4G yesterday for the first time...CHEERIO IS THE BEST!I will definatley be returning next year. Everything from the staff to the food is amazing! There are no cliques either! I dont suggest going for only one week though. I went for 2 weeks and even that felt so short! Times flies when your having fun! I am going for 3 weeks next year!

i went to this camp last year for two weeks. it was so much fun. the cabins are really nice. there are only four activities a day so choose wisely. if you're a a girl, definitly go to the girls sessions.

This camp is overall awful. When I sent my daughter here, she cied each night because she was homesick. This was because the activities weren't fun. When she told the counselors about her hmesickness, they seriously LAUGHED.

I have been attending Cheerio for 5 years and I fully intend to continue. This camp is the highlight of my summer. I love being in the mountains, having fun in the activities, and meeting new people. The activity amount is much greater than what the website says, and everything is a ton of fun. I've never tried something I didn't enjoy. The evening activities are also not given justice. They bring the cabin together, and allow for some serious fun. Cheerio is a Christian camp, however, the focus is not so much as trying to force the Bible upon people, but rather trying to improve the character and values of campers by using the Bible. Cheerio is definitely worth the money, and worth the time.

i dont understand how anyone could dislike camp cheerio. Everything here is amazing . i personally go to girls camp and i hear that co-ed is not as fun.... but girls camp is AWESOME. that first review- i really cannot understand. the counselors are amazing so is the food i love all the people there and the cabins are so nice! I cry when i leave every single year and as far as i know everyone who comes here has the time of there life. my summers at cheerio are the best summers ive ever had. i love cheerio.

I love Camp Cheerio and I go there every summer! There is a wide range of activities there to keep you busy. I'm soo glad that the camp finally broke down and bought air conditioners for the cabins! Most of the counselors are great, but sometimes I feel like I'm not being paid attention to very much.

Cheerio is a great camp in my opinion. Compared to other YMCA camps, the fees are a bit expensive, but if you're willing to pay that I think you will definetly feel that camp is 100% worth it. Really, my only complaint is that they don't offer long enough sessions - but what can you do about that?

I had a great time this summer. I loved riferly, climbing and rock sliding. I went to session 4c. Cheerio rocks!
