The staff are always kind and very helpful, the cabins aren't that nice though. Generally they need cleaning. The activities are always fun and have some real-life scenario keys in them. We spend a lot of time on the lake swimming and boating. We are always taught the safety routines of boating as well which has saved my life at least once.(Not at camp. At my cottage) The leaders do their best to pay attention to all the girls even though it is difficult. This camp may be expensive but it is worth the money if you like outdoorsy activities. The food is not the best but I still sometimes really like it. The breakfast sausages are amazing, so are the chicken sandwiches. I definitely recommend going to this camp.

My daughter went to this camp for several years. Her last camp she did left her so traumatised that she hasn't done an overnight activity in the last two years and she no longer trusted girl guides (she quit). The staff didn't once think about the consequences to their actions and weren't even apologetic about what happened. They also didn't deny it. Save your $$ and go elsewhere. I would never recommend this camp like I once did.

Woolsey is a fantastic camp! The staff are fun, respectful and always make each girl feel comfortable. My only concern was the shower facilities because I do enjoy my sweet showers! However, I understand that they cannot have all the girls showering in first-class showers all the time. I respect the solar showers that Woolsey provides but as always, (and this is a bit far fetched)showers with running water would be much appreciated. This camp is truly amazing and enjoyed myself every day that I spent there! Keep up the good work!

I went there with my gg unit (wich I'm so NOT doing this year) and the food was HORRIBLE ! I'm allergic to eggs so for breakfast, they gave me one tiny sausage and when I went to take another one, they stopped me because there weren't gonna be enough for everybody. Wth ? Later, we wanted to go swimming and they said it was too cold ! BUT OUR TENTS HAD STEAM COMING OUT OF THEM ! The activities were boring and we slept all day. One of the many reasons I quit girl guides.

the kids that come to this camp just love it, which is what matters. However, the staff are treated like garbage and not appreciated at all. The pay is spectacular for a summer camp, but the dynamic as a staff member is painful at best.

Camp Woolsey has a good variety of camp types, and is an amzing Girl Guide Camp. My only qualm is that the prices are a little high.
