My son just returned from his 1st time at sleepaway camp. When we picked him up he was BEAMING and talked our ears off the whole drive home about how much fun he had and how he cant wait till next summer! His favorite activities were the BLOB, horseback riding, and the on-site waterpark! The camp itself is just beautiful and picturesque. The staff was very nice and you could tell they love their jobs. My only word of warning (since its not mentioned on their website) is that they serve only vegetarian food. We chose not to tell him this beforehand since we figured it would affect his judgement (especially coming from a carnivorous family of hamburger-lovers like us) but he said the food was great, and it didn't bother him when we told him those were actually veggie burgers/hotdogs etc. he had eaten. Desserts are offered after each meal, they also roast marshmallows at the campfire, AND they can buy any extra snacks they wish in the camp store so don't let the veggie diet scare you!
