My twins just came back from their first year at FLC (3 week session) and had the best time! It's really like a family, with so much personal attention. My kids loved their experience and can't wait to go back next year. Gorgeous location and a huge variety of activities with lots of camper choice. And my usually pick kids loved the food too! Great first summer at Forest Lake.

Our son attended Forest Lake Camp this summer for a 2-week session. He had never been to sleep-away camp before and loved it! FLC's setting was amazing - perched on a hilltop with gorgeous views. The brand new dining hall is reminiscent of Hogwart's. The cabins are rustic, but large with attached showers/bathrooms - just what you would imagine Adirondack camp to be. The new Camp Director, Caroline, is awesome...attentive, great with the kids and responsive. There were so many activities and trips, 2 weeks wasn't long enough. A magical start to summer.

This camp used to be great, but has fallen off massively. The new owners are much more interested in treating it like a business (see how much they upsell "addons" like waterskiing and extra horseback lessons), and the directors don't seem to have any idea what they're doing. I know most camps fly by the seat of their pants a bit, and in fact that's often a great thing, but there's a limit. Try calling the camp # at any point in the off season - if someone picks up, you should probably buy a lottery ticket as it's definitely your lucky day. I assume normally they're out taking yet more pictures of their own children to fill their bare-bones social media presence. Will kids have a good time there? Absolutely. Will kids get the quality experiences and personal growth they'd get at other camps in the area, with interesting and challenging programming? Not a chance. When I was a camper/counselor I always assumed I'd send my kids to Forest Lake. No way now, though. ~FLC veteran

Amazing location, wonderful counselors, diverse group of campers, super selection of activities. Kids gain independence and confidence. They learn cooperation, teamwork and problem solving.

I LOVE Forest Lake Camp because it's absolutely amazing. from activity periods to the staff and the campers, FLC is outstanding overall. wouldn't wanna spend my summer anywhere else.

FLC is the total package. I know my kids are receiving a complete and well rounded camp experience. No complaints at all! Staff goes above and beyond for every camper and parent. I rated them 5 in all categories because this has been our experience thus far. They are true to their word & our kids want to return.

I love FLC! I went my first year without any friends from home and came back the next six years! I've made fantastic friends, created lifetime memories, and found a home for myself! The staff, food, activities, traditions, environment, and campers are fantastic -- there's no better place to spend your summer!

This camp is so amazing. It was my first summer and I loved it everybody was so nice and i had the best summer of my life. The food is great and you really connect with the counselors and they help you out with anything.

I went to FLC last summer and it is my favorite place in the entire world. I made so many friends and the counselors are so much fun. Every day I got the opportunity to try something new. I can't wait to return next summer!

My daughters said it was the best camp ever and nothing can beat it. This was their first sleepaway camp experience. For me as a paremt, the Director and Assistant Director was what made me chose FLC. Welcoming, warm and very responsive. My kids will be returning next year.

I went to FLC for the first time last summer. I had a complete BLAST. I get homesick but the counselors are really good at handling it. I miss it so much! The girls are super nice, and even though there is some drama, it's really fun. I love this camp and I can't wait to go back!

This summer was my first summer at FLC, and It's Decemeber and I am counting down the days till camp! THe consulers were soo fun and energenic.. the food was okay... it was camp food. The activities were so fun and well instructed. Water front is awesome we have a private lake so its great! Water skiing we have to drive to a place to go but its still awesome!! We go on fun trips, the cabins are big and roomy and the beds are comfy. The ki ds are great and I made soo many friends and were in touch!! I will go to FLC untill im a conseler! FLC IS THE BEST CAMP EVER<3<3<3<3 GREEN AND WHITE<3!!

This was my first summer at FLC and it was defiently a great one!! The activities are all we counseled, you learn while having fun and playing games. The cabins are all big and different, very roomy. It is not a rich kids camp but it is defiently a very, very nice camp. The setting is beautiful and the staff is great! The counselers were great people to talk to.. Very understanding but always fun and up for pranks! This expierence has made me want more camp! I can't wait for next year! I want to go 'till counselers!

Warm and welcoming staff. Absolutely beautiful setting. We were looking for a camp where my child would meet new friends and try new things and our expectations were exceeded. She can't stop singing the camp songs and wants to go back next summer for 7 week! The recognition sticks were amazing and she loves showing them off. She is excited about earning more notches each year she returns - all the way to CIT and counselor.

Went there for 6 years back in the 70's and 80's. Getting ready to send my children there. It is an incredibly warm and safe environment with amazing beauty and facilities and even a private lake.

excellent camp, have been going there for 5 years. This was my first camp ever and I loved it from the start. It's a very safe, homelike environment and I personally could not imagine a summer without going there. I'd even stay there all year if I could. It's definitely worth giving a shot.

FLC was my first sleepaway camp and the moment I stepped into my cabin and met my cousulers and cabinmates I felt right at home. FLC is a small camp and you get to know everyone really well. Like any camp there was some drama and you always had someone there to back you up. The staff did thier jobs well and gave us very good personal attention. The only problem is that the facilities can be disfunctional at times and you have to take good care of them. FLC rocks!!!!
