Had a good time at this camp. I got way more time with my teacher than I thought I would get. Super cool student life Staff. All the hiking wore me out at the beginning but I got used to it and loved it at the end.

A great place to learn. I went for 3 summers. Intimate program, fantastic faculty. Great outdoor activities. Nothing like studying in the mountains.

The entire camp is built on the lie of "leadership" and "personal integrity" which is a joke, considering that the founder and director of RMSC, Ernest Richardson, began an adulterous affair at RMSC in 2008 with his secretary, Tara Cowherd, who was a close personal friend of his wife, soprano Anne DeVries, and considered to be a family member by Ernest and Anne's 3 children. All of this occurred, and the resulting pregnancy, WHILE running a camp for youth to whom Mr. Richardson preached "leadership" and "personal integrity". Haven't seen that in the camp literature. Ernest's wife and their 3 children had made RMSC their summer home away from home until this was revealed.Immediately, the 3 Richardson children were told by their father that he "didn't have room to house them" on the RMSC campus and they have never returned. They spend their summers applying for free/reduced school lunch while their father fly-fishes in CO and teaches music students about the importance of being earnest.
