My children (age 9 and 11) spent 4 weeks at Camp Jak last summer and are excited to go back! They made friends and felt entirely comfortable away from home thanks to loving staff and lots of FUN. There is plenty of swimming and outdoor games every day, there is the opportunity to ride horses and do ziplines and high ropes courses, and there are dances and arts and crafts and drama and so much else for every kid to pick their ideal way to spend their time at camp. My kids truly grew last summer by choosing to conquer their fears on the high ropes and ziplines, and it was such fun to see those photos! Parents can log in and see pictures of what is going on at camp throughout the session. My kids say the food and cabins were good, and they are eager to do it again this summer!

My kids have been with John and Kelly (the directors) for a number of years, and they went to Camp JaK with them last summer. The location is beautiful, in a high desert sort of way. The staff are really conscientious and provide loving care and attention. My kids love the variety of activities, and they will definitely be back this summer.

Directors used to be at Plantation Farm Camp which is a great place. There was some kind of falling out and they left PFC. They are good people but this site/experience lacks from my kids perspective. From a parent perspective, it is also irritating that so many pictures they post are of their own kids and counselors rather than campers.
