My 13 y/o daughter with Aspergers Syndrome (Autism) has attended Camp ES for 4 years in a row now, and truly loves it. One thing that is really good, she suffers from severe excess gas from the Aspergers and the inability to control it. She has always been afraid to go to camp or anything like it for fear of embarrassing herself from "Tooting" around other people but Camp ES knows that these kids are special and always treat her like their own. The staff and the other kids there understand that she cant control her "Tooting" and never punish her or tease her because of her. She has made several best friends from this camp and it has taught her that she can still be included even though she has problems, and that she can still be loved and meaningful to others. It is always a great experience for her and she looks forward to going every year! I would recommend it to anyone with special needs children!!
