So here's the thing. Parents generally love this camp because it is one of the only camps serving Brooklyn children where they will spend the entire day outdoors. From a staff member's point of view, the parents have know idea what really goes on here. There is an enormous amount of campers and the number grows every year because all that matters is making money. The camper to counselor ratio is horrendous. They used to only hire college aged counselors but now, (because they are cheap), they are hiring immature high-schoolers to care for your children. These are people that are not even legally allowed to be alone with a group of children yet it happens all day. The number of illegal things they do here is outstanding. On rainy days they used to go to a synagogue. Now they make the campers sit in their "rain safe" shelters for hours which actually get extremely flooded and all the kids do is cry and scream. The director is another story. She is way too young and immature to run a camp
