Poor leadership. Concerns raised to the director met w/ marked defensiveness and excuses. My kid broke her arm, falling off the monkey bars. In their defense, it was not obviously broken. I was not notified til I came at 5. No documentation, just verbal which proved to be very inaccurate. The Dir. later explained there was no need to notify me b/c my daughter was fine. Turns out, the nurse was away at a mtg, the Dir. left campus shortly after the injury, and the young counselor asked my daughter how she was, but apparently ignored the reply that she still hurt! They even asked permission at registration to give ibuprofen if needed, but instead my daughter suffered all day. So the cast was water resistant and swimming allowed. But the next field trip to the pool.. lifeguard wouldn't let her in, cast too dangerous. Instead of calling me to maybe pick her up, she had to sit in 95°, no shade, watching the others swim. Dir's response? "U should send your daughter with a hat." Cruel
