This is a highly recommended Marine Biology/Scuba diving camp in the Florida Keys. Sailing, Scuba Diving, windsurfing, exploring the largest coral reef in North America are all supposed to be included. However, our experience was that our child was learning to scuba dive in a small canal carpeted with stinging Casseopia jellyfish and the staff completely unconcerned with the danger. Children enrolled in Scuba 1 may not take sailing, nor will they ever visit an actual reef. They get to observe the stinging jellyfish instead. The camp discloses that there is no air conditioning and recommends that you bring fans, be aware that temperatures top 100 degrees every day. We found the camp to be very expensive and interested in charging us for many things we did not use. Despite numerous requests, no photos of our child at camp were ever provided. All activities that your child enroll in on the first day are the only activities they will have for the entire camp session.
