I was a camper there and for the first two years I was ok with it, but in my third year, it was a nightmare. The campers in my bunk were SO RUDE and the most annoying people I have ever met. I only had two friends. This girl once made me cry because she was being so mean to me. The counselors in my bunk were nice though and helped me through it. In my first year, a staff member made me cry because she yelled at me for something I didn't even know about. I am a very sensitive person, so I cry a lot, but it's mostly out of anger. The food was delicious by the way. I am never going to this camp again.

I have been going here for the past 5 years, and this camp is AMAZING!! There are a few times where they hire a bad counselor in the bunch, and most of the bunks are pretty runned down, but overall, the activities are great and the friends you make are worth it!

Words cannot describe how much Camp Louise means to me. I have met the best friends that I will ever meet. The facilities are beautiful and each staff member is incredible. Though some activities are lacking, mostly the athletics, every day at camp is incredible. I cry every year when I leave and stay in touch with my friends throughout the school year. The traditions, such as the 4th of July flag raising, circle, singing on bus rides, bunny hop lunch, and Havdallah are what keep Louise going. If you're looking for a friendly, warm, Jewish summer camp, then look no further than Louise. Every girl finds something about it that she loves. I cannot imagine a summer without it.

I hated this camp! Every one was mean. The staff were not clear on things. Se never got to pick the activites we did like they said we would. Instead we just did folk dancing all day every period. Once we signed up for special programs we could not switch out. So I got stuck doing a drum one. They camp was so big and so were the bunks that one we had to do count offs all the time. Also I did not even know every one in my bunk. My friend was on the other side of the bunk so I like never got to see her. They also made us put are head at a certin end of the bed. This camp was so dumb, they made us do the die in are whites fir shabat. Since we were in are whites we could not tuch the dye. The counsalers had to do it. They also only had one color. I am never going to go back to this camp. It is so bad and not worth my time and money.

even though this camp is good, after a couple years it really does get boring. plus, when youre over the age of 10, the girls are SUPER cliquey, its horrible. they're all spoiled & usually kinda rude. but otherwise the cliqueyness, its a good camp. i personally would not go back again.

Camp Louise is my second home. Even though I was only in Unit C this past summer, I was really happy they got rid of the CA/CIT lottery. Okay, so some of the girls can be pretty mean (bunks have they're own "popular clique"), it is overall a really amazing experiece. I never want to go home and considered signing up for six weeks this summer (didn't have time). I think of Camp Louise with happy memories, and feel that though it is not the most expensive multi-billion-dollar-facility camp, it a place where I feel like I can be myself and feel happy with who I am. It's nice to be around all Jewish girls, because sometimes at school I feel like "that Jewish girl", I am always at home at Louise. The bunks are in pretty good condition, and even though the facilities are not all-new, seeing them at the beginning of the session makes me smile. I always get this really happy feeling on the car ride to camp. It is a wonderful place, with truly amazing traditions.

i love this camp and this will be my 7th year every year just gets better and better the only thing i had a little problem with is the bunk placement. i was placed in a younger unit with 6th graders when we had 7th and and 8th grader in my bunk, but it was still an awsome year.

you have to get good counslors or a great bunk in order to have a blast. last summer i had an awful bunk but amazing counselors and then this summer i had the best bunk and the worst counselors so it all depends.

This is a good starter camp for a new camper who wants to try overnight camp. After 2 or 3 years of attending, the arts and crafts projects are still the same. My child was bringing home the same stuff every summer. The activities don't change either. Got a bit boring after a few summers. The girls have to be 12 years old to do things like archery, participate in musicals, and the pottery wheel! The younger kids felt this was truly unfair.
