My child came home in tears. She said it was like working in a swamp and they served them food that was worse than in prison. Several girls taunted her daily and made her an outcast. I will never send my child back there and neither should you

My 11 year old son LOVED this camp and is planning on returning again for 2 weeks this year . He had a fabulous time. Facilities are clean. Dorm like rooms with bunk beds are air conditioned and bathroom inside. Boys kept separate from girls. Bathroom showers are little messy and bare but really folks kids are fast in showers and it's sufficient! Bring own bathroom stuff and towels. The best stuff is all the outdoor adventures to take part in. Totally fun . My son conquered fears and did adventure pass with zip lining and bungee jumping. Rode horses daily, camp tenting outside, organized sports, dancing all around great fun. Met lots of friends from all over the US and Overseas. Counselor are very very nice and enjoy themselves here too. Summer camp is all about growing up, learning to take care of yourself and making lasting friends and fun memories. My son talks about Camp Illahaw at least 2xs monthly! Cannot wait to return in late June and July .
