I have been going to this camp since i was 7 and this coming summer i'm going into their LIT program and am really looking forward to it. The staff here get along so well with each other and the campers, forming a strong community. The cabins are comfortable and washrooms are kept clean. You will never be bored with the variety of activities available and get the appropriate amount of rest. The Med-Shed (nurses office) is kept sterile and is comfortable. The food, while not always appetizing, is nutritious and made with care. I have made some of my closest friends here and look forward to coming back each year.

I loved this camp. It was my first year and I loved it and everyone is so inclusive and the only part that sucked that I got pnenumonia and they didnt treat me but overall I would totally recommed it

This camp is a big joke, the staff treat you terribly with no respect. I had a counsellor that was only 2 years older than me... they were all so much more immature than me and everything at that camp is nasty. that camp should be closed down with no respect. I hope YMCA realizes that if they're going to run a camp, acctually hire staff that knows how to canoe or knows how to talk to a child

worst camp ever ! the staff and the trippers were so rude and nasty i won't be going to this horrible camp ever and i have already warned mother friends to never even think about signing up because its so terrible and a waste of your time and money

My daughter was very excited to go on this trip with two of her friends over the summer. When my daughter came back home she had bite marks all over her body and acne all over her face. She said she felt sorry for making us spend so much money. She told us that the tripper hated her and treated her differently than the rest (tripper's name was Ally with red hair.) In the beginning I though this was a joke until she got into specific details. She told me they didn't let her wash her face or hands for 4 days on out trip and the kids were treated like servants. The campers were told to fetch water and fire wood for the staff and build their tents. She also told me that the boys were whipped with a rope by a male counsellor (counsellor's name was Ian)! I hope all the counsellors and the tripper will be taught how to teach kids who are homesick properly and learn some respect. I do not recommend this camp and I'll be telling my other friends not to let their kids to go here ever!

The staff were so rude and disrespectful towards the children.The activities didn't entertain the kids and wasted their time, I'd rather not have wasted almost $2000 and hung out with friends and family for 2 weeks of my summer! Half the things that were advised to buy were not needed such as:sleeping pad,sunglasses,sun shirts,rain boots, and much more.Out trip was terrible and the tripers were so rude and made some kids cry! Some nights the staff were being so selfish and didn't feed us kids! While the staff ate 2 bags of perogies and gave 10 kids half of a bag and starved us for the whole night. Camp wabanaki is a disgrace and I dont think i will go there ever again.

I LOVE this camp i mean love. It is the best place ever! Wish i could go all summer long. Staff is nice. Food is great, blob is fun, and thee are soooo many activities. You will love the people and everything. Morning dip is even enjoyable (after you get out of the lake) I am waiting so anxiously because i get to go for the third time in 6 days. I LOVE CAMP WAB

Really a camp where anyone can fit in. The program and facilities are incredible and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The LIT program also shines and is really something all teenagers should partake in. I have not heard of a summer camp more inviting or skilled at what they do. Definitely recommended.

I really didn't enjoy this camp. I've been to lots of YMCA Camps and enjoyed all of them, but here, the staff were quite rude and didn't care about us at all. :( Maybe some of the other staff members were really nice but mine were mean...

Awesome camp it's a must go. If unlike out-trip try voyageurs it's a coed trip for 10 days in Killarney and Georgian bay it's beautiful and so much fun. The councelors are great and even if ur older and u r nervous to come because u think u won't fit in.... Forget it all the councelors will love u and talk to u the same.... Just got back today and already missing it must go for two weeks one week is just not enought... Send yourself to WAB now!!!,!,!,!,,!

this camp is AMAZING! next year will be my fourth year as a camper, and all my experiences at wab have been AMAZING! the staff are really nice, and there is so many activities. anyone who doesn't go to wab is missing out!

SUUUCH a chillin camp. first time there this year WOODY IS THE MAN if you don't know him your probably afraid of him if you do you know hes just there to joke around and have a good time like everyone else
