Click to report rating    9/14/13   2     4     2     2     2   The director of YAG is absolutely horrible and should i no way be working with children. The things she says and the way she treats them is awful, as is the way she runs her program and expects the rest of the staff to treat the kids. She isn't even professional enough to live her ridiculous religious and political views at HOME. She acts sweet when the parents drop off/pick up but is completely different when they aren't there. Seems like someone who is just bitter she didn't make it in the performing industry. RID: 45990

I am a much better person because of Yag. The shows are original and the director is a caring person who cares about each and every student. RID: 42935
Click to report rating    12/28/09   1     4     4     4     1   Yag is a terrible place to go. The director is literally the meanest lady you will ever meet. She is a nasty brat, and she gives lectures on her political views and her religious views. I used to love yag, and then I realized how terrible it really was. The director plays favorites immensely, only giving parts in the shows to her favorites, no matter how good the other people there are. Never send your children to this camp, or never go there yourself. You seriously don't want to get wrapped up in the terribleness that is young actors guild. RID: 31789
Click to report rating    11/19/07   5     5     5     5     5   Yag!!Omg this serioulsy is the best camp i have ever been to. If you are into acting and singing and dance this is the perfect place to go during the summer. Everyone is extremley nice and the staff actually cares about you and helps you succeed. If you come in on your first day and dont know anyone then by the end of the day you will have at least one new best friend. This camp does run a little on the ex****ve side at 1000 dollars for one summer session, but you deffinatley get your moneys worth. Some of my best friends come from this camp and i know they will be my bffs forever. RID: 17232

Click to report rating    11/20/06   5     5     5     5     5   this is THE BEST summer camp i have EVER been to. the people here are soooooo friendly and understanding. I love acting and this camp just makes me want to pursue it more. Even if you dont like one aspect of it (like me and singing) the rest of the camp makes up for it and if you cant make at least one friend on the first day there is something wrong. the productions are AMAZING to watch and to be in the staff puts 120% into everything they do in the camp and arent afraid to actually talk to the kids. the auditions for the play can be a little nervewracking but everyone is so nice and reassures you that you did a great job. the whole experience is just a HUGE self esteem booster. i've been in it for three years now and i wouldnt want to go anywhere else. this place is so awesome we even have our own words ex. yagerrific yagtastic yagateria cabyagret etc etc. definitely the best thing that ever happened to me was finding out about and enrolling in this program. Click to report rating    7/30/06   5     5     5     5     4   YAG is such an awesome camp. It is so much fun to go to in the summer...and they also have "semesters" in the fall/winter and spring! The staff there are such great and nice people that really teach you what they are supposed to. Then at the end of the "semester" you do huge musical productions that only big preforming groups could actually put on. Also the kids that go there are such nice people..my friends there are some of my closest friends and i get along with some of my friends at YAG better than some of my friends at school. And you get to express yourself to the fullest extent where you could go all out on being yourself and everybody would except you for the person that you are. And when people first start as little kids they are very shy and self reserved, but by the time they are done with the camp they are totally outgoing and not the least bit shy or self reserved. YAG is like the best camp in the world!!!! RID: 1680
