My children have attended Lavner summer camps for the past 5 summers, and never run out of specialty camp subjects they want to do, whether it is their favorites like Minecraft they do multiple times, or all the new camps that Lavner seems to roll out every summer. We did the virtual camps during summer 2020 and those kept them learning and having fun every week too - and I was a skeptic after our poor experience with virtual school. My kids' instructors have been overall fantastic - smart and knowledgeable, and friendly and fun. That's a combo that's hard to find in our experience! We can't speak highly enough of this company and their offerings, both in-person and virtual.

Lavner's web site is impressive.. misleadingly. My 7-year-old daughter's coding 101 instructor got sick after the first day and didn't return. No biggie except that her replacement was so incompetent, not only did my daughter privately complain to me, the instructor independently declared himself unfit for the role. Two of five days instruction were lost and the camp apparently had the kids playing video games to kill time - something I would let me daughter do at home let alone pay around $200 a day for. I thought I was being generous in suggesting my daughter receive two one hour private lessons in lieu of two full lost days of instruction. However, Lavner Camps dragged its feet for nearly TWO MONTHS and by then the instructor had returned to college and was unavailable.

My son attended Lavner Culinary Camp at Gwynedd Mercy Academy. We were shocked to find out that his instructor was an actual Food Network star that we had seen on TV prior to the camp week! My son absolutely loved going to camp each day and the food was incredible. He now loves to help me cook in the kitchen and show off his new culinary skills that he learned at camp. He will be back this summer for another few weeks of Culinary and even some sports weeks. For the camp office - can you schedule some adult cooking classes during the year? I'd love to come!

Lavner Camps is professionally run and very organized. Their staff made my son feel right at home and always an important part of their community. He attended Robotics Camp and some programming camps and ignited a passion for engineering and coding that I was hoping he might discover! We are moving to the Midwest in a few months. I'd like to recommend Lavner Camps considering expanding their locations to more Midwest cities so that we can continue attending their camps.

Lavner Camps gets better and better ever Summer! The staff are absolutely incredible and are clearly well trained. The instructors always go the extra mile to make the experience really special. And the selection of classes is really really unique. There is a very healthy balance of tech activities and outdoor time; I'm a big believe that children, no matter how "techy", also need to run around during the day. Lavner Camps certainly gets my vote!

Lavner camps is simply incredible. The staff and friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and welcoming. Activities are thoughtfully planned and provide substantial educational value. They have tons of staff members so campers are offered lots of personal attention. Best of all, Lavner Camps provides tremendous value when compared to competiting STEM camps. Overall, a tremendous camp!

Lavner Camps is the BEST! The staff are amazing and you can tell that they really put a lot of time into curriculum. I love how they have a 1:8 staff to camper ratio- campers are able to get so much more personal attention than what they receive in school. The value is also exceptional when compared to other tech camps which tend to cost at least twice as much. Beware that Lavner Camps only offers 25 locations, so they may not be in your neighborhood.Other than that, Lavner Camps is as good as it gets!

I attended Lavner Camps for the past few summers and I am blown away by the quality of the camps and the staff. Everything was very organized and I learned a lot! The instructors are passionate and caring, and the camp environment is a great place to be. I love recommending Lavner Camps to friends and family and hope to return to Lavner Camps this summer!

I am thoroughly disappointed in this camp. I'll explain to to you why. Originally I signed up for a camp last summer, and had a good times, 2 years ago. But, last year, I had one great first week. But, when I got to the second week, the cooking camp, was a fail, and that the recipes weren't by a professional chef. When you are running a cooking camp, why would not want a professional chef? What ticked me off was that the food was inedible, and I had to suffer in silence, as the directors told me to brush it off, and to just shut up. For the third week, my parents got a call explicitly stating that the cooking camp was cancelled, and instead I elected to do a movie/filmmaking camp. I got to the filmmaking/movie camp and decided that this camp was not for me, as a teenager. Not only was the camp full of whiny, lazy no-good 7 year olds, who made me dread being there, the counselor was on her phone! I got out in less than 2 hours, thankfully! This is due to lack of caring in management.
