We did an internationa mission trip and the experience was fabulous! We experienced the culture and did a lot of praise and worship. The work was hard, but very rewarding. The staff truely cared about us and shared their experiences. They also had a priest and a Christian muscian on staff and both were great. The showers were cold water and there was no air conditioning, but that made it feel like a real mission trip. I would definitely recommend it!

it was an over all Great experience, the highlight of my summer for sure. But the videos are outdated, The shower quality is revolting, The should really involve the youth more during the happy parts of evening program. Like, call up more of us during Carpenter Commandos. I love the staff soooooooo much and I wish we could have more one on one time with them. I wish they would lower the age limit for the staff, I mean yeah, 21 is kinda young but 16 year old cant always see them how they want us to see them. I LOVE THIS CAMP. I cant complain that much because the whole point of this week is to sacrifice your everyday privileges (like takeout, soft bead, nice showers, etc.) so you can open your eyes wider to what a wonderful god we have, and to get deeper in the faith that is already within us.

The Community service part of the camp is great, but the faith experience part of the camp is very bubble gum like. Considering it is a Catholic camp, it felt like it was a place for teens to be disrespectful and rude. There was a lot of promotion in clothing and anything that said, "CHWC."
