Best.Daycamp.Ever! My girls count down the days from the end of camp till the beginning of next Summer. The Staff is A+ going above and beyond for their families. The Counselors and Junior Counselors are warm, attentive, energetic and make each day as exciting as the previous. I highly recommend!!

My kids love Camp Adventurewood! They've attended the camp for years and have an amazing new experience every summer. I really appreciate the staff - they clearly put a lot of time, effort, and imagination into making the camp a fun and fantastical experience. Every day my kids won't stop telling me about the storyline.

I love this camp! My children have been going here for years. They love it so much they want to be counselors when they're old enough! They get a lot of exercise everyday and in addition, have a lot of fun with the imaginary world of adventure this camp puts together. They make a lot of great friends outside of their school, the counselors & staff love what they do and it shows !

Camp Adventurewood is the best camp in Pasadena. I have spent 15 summers at Camp Adventurewood and there’s nowhere else I’d rather spend my summers. The staff is comprised of the most talented, creative, outgoing, energetic and skilled people you’ll meet. They all come with lots of experience and absolutely love working with kids. They honestly love what they do. Most of the staff are all former campers and have grown up together and truly represent what the heart of camp is. The activities are truly unique and something kids don’t get to experience everyday. If you truly want to give your kids an amazing summer experience, send them to Camp Adventurewood. I promise you, they won’t be disappointed.

My kids have attended Camp Adventurewood for years and I can't say enough about what a great experience it has been for them! They love all of the great activities and especially the storyline and all of the camp characters. The camp olympics and the beach trips are also big hits! Best of all, the kids are outside all day being active and away from electronics and they come home tired and happy. 5 stars!!!

Camp Adventurewood has been a highlight of my now-preteen son's summer break since he was four. The owner and staff/counselors are all really outgoing, fun and extremely competent, "working" tirelessly to facilitate an incredibly good time for the kids, with a myriad of outdoor activities and adventures that keep summertime light and full of play. Camp Adventurewood has mastered the perfect balance keeping their kids safe without compromising a really good time. I never worry whether or not my kid is OK because I know he's in great hands. Plus, he loves it. He can't get to the camp van fast enough in the morning and comes home in the afternoon looking like he's played really hard all day. He's also made a number of "non-school" friends through this camp, which is nice. Five stars all the way around!!

I have provided horses and animals for summer camps all over Southern California, but I must say Camp Adventurewood's location and professionalism ranks it among the best. Counselors are courteous and caring, and will never encourage or force campers to partake in any activity they may find fearful or uncomfortable. Trail rides are just one of many activities, as children also express their joy of hiking, canoeing, archery, etc. If you want your child to spend a summer outside and away from video games and Netflix, I highly recommend the adventurewood experience, where kids can be kids again.

My daughter has attended for 8 years. Camp Adventurewood offers
a large range of activities along with very creative experiences. The counselors are tremendous and the owner(PETER) has an incredible passion for the camp and campers experience. A big plus is a door to door service!
My daughter can't wait to be a counselor. The camp is 100/100!!

Camp Adventurewood is truly the best. My kids attended for 5-6 years as campers and now both work as junior and senior counselors. They have such fond memories coming home each day with a new clue in the treasure hunt and couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. They would come home dirty with smiles on their face, a sign of a good day! The counselors make sure each kid has the time of their lives no matter what they are doing!

Camp Adventurewood offers a fantastic summer experience! You can tell that the staff and counselors really care about the kids. More importantly, this experience is totally one-of-a-kind because of the theatrical performances it provides. These scenes that the kids get to watch are somewhere in between Harry Potter and Indiana Jones and provide camp-goers with a chance to become involved with the story in a truly unique way. Your kids will become engrossed in the story and will come home from camp eagerly awaiting the next day. I can't recommend it strongly enough!

My daughter attended Camp Adventurewood for 3 Summers and it has been the best 3 summers of her life. “Every minute in camp is amazing!”. She is always excited about going every single day as they have different activities scheduled. She’s learned new and fun stuff you would not see on any other camp. They do Canoeing, Horseback Riding, Archery and much more. Also, aside from doing Arts and Crafts, Barbecues, hiking and swimming, they also go on trips at Sunset beach which is one of my daughter’s favorite, as she loves the water so much. All counselors are well-trained to supervise the kids so I never have to worry about their safety. And talk about convenience, they also have a shuttle to do door to door pick up and drop offs. For a working mom like me, this really helped a lot. Peter supervises the training for the Commercial Drivers for the Senior Counselors to make sure best and safest drivers are behind the wheels for the shuttle.Peter, his staff at are all highly recommended.

Best Camp Ever! My daughter has been attending for 9 years. Staff is professional, kind and trustworthy. She loves the creative interactive storyline, archery and especially Olympic day. This is like no other camp- the time, effort and imagination Peter and the camp staff puts into this camp is incredible. My daughter waits all year for this camp! This is not a cookie cutter summer camp- Camp Adventurewood puts their entire heart and soul into providing a positive, unique and adventure filled camp for children.

I'm extremely impressed with Camp Adventurewood. It has many great activities for kids, such as swimming, archery, and horseback riding. However, what really sets it apart is the adventure. The kids take part in an exciting story, with heroes and villains. It's so creative and it gets the kids to engage and use their imaginations.

Camp Adventurewood is the most well-run summer day camp for kids in the San Gabriel Valley. With a range of outdoor activities accompanied by an action-packed storyline, campers are engaged from the moment they arrive. Camp owner Peter Kazanjian pours his heart and infectious energy into every detail of the camp, and it shows. Their staff selection and training process is very thorough, as it brings together an effective blend energetic and nurturing staff that inspires campers every day. Our family has been a Camp Adventurewood family for over 12 years, and despite their differences, each sibling agrees that Camp Adventurewood provides the most exciting and memorable 5 weeks of summer a kid could ask for.

Our son has attended Camp Adventurewood for two summers and this year will be his third. We love that it’s all outdoors and that they keep the kids engaged in fun, active, and creative activities. They also take the campers on beach outings and the movie they produce each year from all the footage filmed over the summer is a big hit in our house. All in all it’s an awesome camp with wonderfully caring and reliable staff and I can’t say enough positive things. I give them my highest recommendation.

My boys attended Camp Adventurewood every single summer from the time they were 4 and 5. Each started their first summer going 2 or 3 days/wk and by the second summer insisted on 5 days/wk. Every year I asked them if they wanted to go back and it was always an enthusiastic yes! Camp Adventurewood offers lots of great outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, archery and horseback riding. However, what really sets this camp apart is the amazingly creative "treasure hunt" element. Each summer the Camp Adventurewood staff weave a different adventure storyline through the day to day activities at the camp. The kids love it! As a parent, I love that they could be picked up from the house by an air-conditioned van and have a wonderful time with attentive, caring counselors. Camp Adventurewood is fun fun fun for kids and so convenient for parents!

We love Camp Adventurewood! My kids, son and daughter, have been going since they were 5 years old. It has been the highlight of the summer. From traditional summer crafts and activities to a suspenseful story line, my kids have enjoyed it every year. In December they always look forward to receiving the video of camp and relive their summer. The best part for me is that a van comes each day to pick the kids up and drops them off in the afternoon. Peter and all of the staff are awesome!

My first son has been attending Camp Adventurewood for 10 years and it's one of the inspirations of his life. Each year the counselors have mentored him through so much growth and maturity. He shared the experience with his younger brother and now it is both their goals to work for Camp Adventurewood when they become teens, to inspire other young people to their full potential for imagination, storytelling and summertime adventure. Really and truly this is an excellent summer camp. They are located in the Arroyo Seco Canyon in Pasadena, and the counselors are just phenomenal. My 5 year old went for the first time last summer and LOVED the horseback riding, treasure hunts, and archery. We're coming back with 2 of our cousins this summer, and since we live in La Canada, the camp van will come directly to our home to pick up the kids! So convenient! Camp Adventurewood is the best camp around!
