Wonderful camp. Fantastic staff. Lots of choice for kids, creative weekly themes, personal attention, a joyful place.

Though I downgraded "facilities" I will say that for a neighborhood camp in an urban setting they are as wonderful as they might be. My child attended this camp for seven years. It is a great program combining a good bit of structure with plenty of choices. Art, music, dance, sports, free play, weekly beach trips and trips to the pool and field trips now & then. The staff is great, many work in the associated after school program during the year. It is a wonderful community atmosphere. Kids who don't seem to enjoy the camp include ones who have trouble with choices and need even more structure and some kids who really want a math/science/computer focus or LOTS of sports. If you can attend one of the weekly Friday performances while your kid is at camp you will get a great flavor of the place. Also has a good CIT program for middle schoolers.
