BEST CAMP EVA! HAD THE BEST SUMMER! cant wait to come back! 2013 here we come!

Daughter went for 2 summers. At one activity, If one camper didnt listen daughter had to run laps, etc. Camp is suppose to be fun and laid back.

What can I say except my kids love this camp. My oldest has gone for 4 years and calls it his second home. He has made some life long friends. My youngest went for the first time last year and there was a smile on his face 24/7. The staff is great especially Robin. He truly cares about the campers and does everything to make them feel at home. I have seen great improvements to the facilities each and every year especiallly the boys bunks. I can't say enoough great things about Silver Lake.

This was our first year at Chipinaw@Silver Lake. We knew how wonderful the camp was when our son said,"Camp is like a second family". The counselors and group leaders are very helpful and concerned with the children having the best time possible. Silver Lake strives to make every child feel important and really takes each child's individuality into account when working with them. They try to encourage each child to be a well rounded individual, by encouraging them to choose a wide range of electives. The wide range of activities are terrific. We were very impressed with the facilities and food choices. The lake is beautiful and the pool is heated, a big plus when it gets chilly out. If needed, the infirmary does everything possible to make your child feel secure and comfortable. The camp makes upgrades each year that truly impact the children. This is a great camp!!

Chipinaw @ Silverlake is a fantastic camp! The staff and kids there are so nice and you make lots friends that last forever. The activities are so much fun and all of the kids enjoy them! The people there make memories and all of them are good ones not bad. I have been going there for two years and already have lots of friends and memories!

My daughter went for the first time this year and had a great summer. The kids at this camp seem to be very nice and not as cliquey as at some other places. My only criticisms were that they need to re-do the canteen for Silver Lake and the art pavilion. They also could do a much better job at gymnastics. However on the plus side, the lake was excellent and my daughter loved waterskiing and playing in the lake. The head of girls camp Robin is very nice and responsive.

My kids love Silver Lake--they consider it their summer home. I've now have had two years to look and really see the camp--because I also have been employed there. Without a doubt the staff is amazing and the head of the girls and boys camps you would not find better people to lead by example. They have instill a since of family to there campers and counselors. It is a joy to see such happy children and such happy staff. We can't wait to go back.

Camp was good. My daughter loved it. When however we ran into financial problems and asked for financial aid to send her back this summer not only did we have to call 30 times to recieve a return phone call. They were totally uncharitable. A Jewish camp that was not at all reaponsive to the needs of the family or could care less about the camper. I understand that Chipinaw is a private camp not listed with any of the federation lists to allow any Jewish Federation Camperships so then they should be more sensitive to the needs of their campers and not just the almighty buck. I went to Chipinaw as a child and sent my child. I would never reccomend this camp to anyone.

My son just completed his first year @ Silver Lake and he had the time of his life. He can't wait to go back. The counselors are wonderful and there is something for every type of kid. The camp is ran very well, every kid is well taken care of. My sone said the food was actually good. The boys bunks need a bit of updating. Just went for visting day and the smiles on all the kids faces says it all. I highly recommend this camp.

OK! This camp is AWESOME!! the peopleare so koolio, they get us and play wih us, they have the funnest game!!!

Great camp with a great staff! the food is amazing i don't usually have food that good at home! but my bunk could have used a little work with the bathrooms but other than that it's AMAZING!!!!

The camp has been a wonderful place for both my (very different) children. The counselors are warm and form wonderful relationships with the kids. They even helped my son with his phobia of thunderstorms! Go take a visit and see how happy they all are! Puts your mind at ease!

We could not be more happier with this camp. Our child LOVES everything about Silver Lake. The facilities are beautiful, the dining hall offers drinks and fruit selections whenever the kids want it (all day long!), the bunks are all refurbished, and the staff are just fantastic. Visiting day said it all....a bunch of VERY happy kids. Go visit for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

this is the best camp you can ever go to. If you are looking for a camp here it is. Take the chance to go because you will have the summer of your life. I LOVE CHIPINAW @ SILVERLAKE

Camp Chipinaw is AWESOME!!! I love art and this camp has the best art program I've ever seen in my entire life! It has stained glass, scrapbooking, silkscreening, fine art, rocketry, and arts and crafts!!! All of the counslors are super nice! The cafeteria has GREAT food that I could snack on all day long! Lastly, there are many many sports to choose from, and every day there are two sports that your required to do like basketball, volleyball, tennis, or soccer!!! ~mIcHeLe~

Ive been going to Chipinaw for 5 years my 1st year was when Silver Lake was founded by Michael and Shari. THey did a great job making preparing a whole new campus in only a few months! Great place and a lot of fun at Chipinaw and Chipinaw @ SL!!!
