Research through real experiences
Camp Reviewz helps families research camps through reported experiences and useful camp information. Reviews are opinions from individual contributors, not a representative survey of every family. Consider dates, counts, details and other sources when interpreting them.
Who can review
Adults with direct experience may submit an honest review. Protect children’s private information and disclose relevant connections to the camp. Owners and staff must not present themselves as independent parent reviewers.
Moderation
We apply the same review rules to positive and negative feedback. We may reject or remove spam, fabricated experiences, manipulation, threats, harassment, unlawful content and privacy or rights violations. We may redact private information without changing an opinion’s substance. We do not verify every claim. Payment does not determine review scores or moderation decisions.
Ratings and historical records
Rating summaries should be read alongside their review counts, dates and stated basis. Missing feedback is not a zero rating. Historical CampRatingz scores and observations are clearly labeled and are not silently combined with new Camp Reviewz feedback. Historical recognition is not a new award from us.
Material labeled CampRatingz comes from the former service. Recovered records may be incomplete: a historical rating count can exceed the number of review texts available, and historical scores are not recalculated from that subset. Review dates are posting dates. Historical camp details may have changed, and review claims are not independently verified.
Top Camps
Top Camps lists are editorial starting points for research. Consult each list’s selection criteria and scope; inclusion does not guarantee a particular camp experience.
Sponsored content
Sponsored placements are identified where they appear.
Corrections and complaints
Use Contact for review or rights concerns, and Report incorrect information for camp facts. Include the relevant URL and supporting details. Disagreement alone is not a reason to remove a review.
