A typical day at Laurel South begins with wake-up at 7:45 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8:10, and five activity periods running from 10:00 a.m. through 5:20 p.m., including an Individual Choice (IC) period. After cabin time and dinner, an evening program runs at 7:45. Every fifth day is a Special Event Day — either a Trip Day out of camp along the Maine coast or a Special Day in camp. On Special Days, campers enjoy a later breakfast, make their own sundaes at lunch, and enjoy creative offerings by the counseling staff.
