Best camp ever!! I've been going to Lonehollow since the first year its opened and every year it gets better and better! Food is amazing, guides are some of the best people around, cabins are absolutely phenomenal, there is always something to do and I have met friends here that I know I'll have the rest of my life! Everybody should experience Lonehollow.
I thought this camp was amazing. The staff is wonderful and the food is fantastic. I have been going for 3 years and loved it. This year I'm going for 4 weeks. The camp itself is beautiful and I hope newcomers think the same way.
Lonehollow is the best camp anyone could ever want. Complete with pillowtop mattresses and gourmet food, its heaven on earth. I can't wait to go back. I am a fifth year camper at Lonehollow. I love it soo much that next year I am going for six weeks!!
Both of my sons have been going to Lonehollow for the past three years and love it. They get excited to go and sad when they leave. They are kept very busy and love the activities and staff. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
This is a wonderful camp for kids. It has the comforts of home and many exciting activities that appeal to all ages. My son has attended this camp the past three summers and absolutely loves it!
If your looking for a change and advancement in new camping experiences- this is the place. Camp Lonehollow is several step above your normal 2 week or 1 month camps. staff is phenomenal. Take the plung and go for it. Food is wonderful.
My child attended this camp this past summer during session 2A. The camp is lovely but the staff seemed tired and uncaring on pickup and drop off. My child also had stomach problems as many of his cabin mates. For the price better camps can be found.
Our two girls attended Lonehollow summer 2009 for a 2-week session. Although expensive, we considered it a wonderful experience for them. The facilities are phenomenal; in fact, one of the things we had to "get over" was that the cabins and dining hall, etc. are a little "too nice" for kids' summer camp. The activities provided a perfect balance between traditional summer camp and more "extreme" up-to-date activities like rock climbing and mountain boarding. If it had been slightly less expensive, we would have liked a three week session (two weeks being a bit short and one month out of our budget and too long anyway). We loved the camp director, and counselors from around the world seemed engaged and competent. The camp is new and building its traditions. Our girls want to return!
