Camp Micah reviews

ABSOLUTELY, hands down, the best camp!! EVERY kid is accepted by campers and staff for who they are! My son refers to everyone in his bunk as his brothers, because that's how they make them feel! Of course, the camps facilties are magnificent but that is only additional plus.

My daughter's third summer and she's having the time of her life. Warm, nurturing, creative environment; responsive, attentive staff; down to earth kids; meaningful, spirited, progressive Friday night services and Shabbat program with a social action component. All round terrific co-ed Jewish camp.

Micah is the best camp ever. It supplies everything to you. The food is out of this world, and the facilities are amazing. EVERYONE is accepted and its a huge family. I look forward to Micah every day it becomes close to going.

The best summers of my life have been spent at Camp Micah. The staff is amazing, and I have made the best friends here. the girls that were in my bunk are like my sisters, and I would reccomend this camp to everyone.

I love Camp Micah and I wish that I had gone for more summers. At Micah everybody is accepted no matter what. Camp Micah is more like a family than a camp to me. There is no better place in the world to be than at Micah and I wish every day that I was there. To anyone looking for a summer camp to send their children to, this is the #1 choice. Camp Micah is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

there is nothing bad about camp micah. I have been there for 5 summers and am going back to become a CIT this year. Micah is a place you feel welcome and comfortable the minute you drive through the gates. I would never choose to go any where else and plan to be there for as long as possible. CAMP MICAH IS AMAZING!!!

I love micah!!! this summer will be my third, everyone there has been so nice it is a great place, I just love it!!! I went to 2 other camps before micah and Micah is the best everybody I know loves it!!! BEST CAMP EVER

I luvluvluv micah! i will be goin back for my 4th summer in 08. i made so many new friends there and tried lots of new things that i luvd. this camp is great for everyone (even picky eaters like me lol) i would totally choose this camp over any other its the best!! go micah!!! -SR (G5)

This camp is all about the money. It is not worth all of that cash. It is more like a resort than a camp and the activities are all to babyish. And when we play other camps they send older kids than the age group is. I did not like this camp at all and i would not recomend it to anyone.

Camp micah is the best camp ever i love it so much the food is great the people are really nice there and it just is a really good camp!

I love this camp! Great facilities, activities, sports, staff, and food. Anyone that thinks that Micah is a resort is messed up (the camp is 7 years old so everything is nice). Go Micah

I will be going on to my seventh year at micah and I love it I would never ever switch camp because micah is like my 2nd home.

the best camp ever!! i can't wait for the next session. staff is awesome and everybody gets equal ateention! DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO SAY IT IS BAD!!! if you went there and think tat its bad then you must be completely insane! Everybody feels important! its very easy to adapt to this camp and you feel at home the second you step into that bunk! I intend to go back every summer until i'm 15!!

Go Micah!!!! Everyone should go there! To all you people who say it's not a good camp, you're crazy.

This is a great camp with a great community feeling. To have a bad time here you really must have a bad attitude to begin with.

Save your money people!! It really is not worth sending your kids to this fake place. Some hotshots bought it, thinking that if you saw how "nice" everything was there would be no way you would not send your child there. Well I am a parent who sent my kids there and it was a disaster as my son had said.

The best camp with a good community feeling and staff that cares. Much better than the other camps I have been to. It is not at all a resort, so don't listen to the others

This was my daughter's first summer at Micah and she absolutely loved it. She is typically quite shy, but was made to feel very welcome by both the campers and staff. The counselors are amazing, and have a very high return rate. My daughter liked that she was able to choose most of her own activities, and raved about the food. I thought the waterfront was beautiful, and all of the facilities are clean and well-kept. My daughter was not thrilled with the way color war was run, but that was her only negative on the camp. It is a great all-around sleepaway camp, where each kid feels special and you don't need to be a jock to have a great time because there are so many activities to choose from. She can't wait to go back next summer!

This is a great camp but they should have a little more respect to the returning kids who are the base of the camp.

i love this camp more than anything in the world. i have been going for 5 years. the staff and all of the campers are great and so much fun to be around. all year i count fown the days until camp. i dont know one person that has gone there and hasnt wanted to come back. its amazing! if you want to go to a great over night camp you should definitely go to camp micah!

I have been going to this camp for six years and every year it gets better and better. The food is amazing and the staff just can't be beat. The bunks are new and very up to date. I would choose this camp over any other camp I have ever been to. This camp is great.
