Cabin accommodations — air conditioning, private bathrooms, hotel mattresses
Campers live in beautiful, recently-renovated, and air-conditioned cabins. Each one of our cabins has 12-15 campers and four indoor private bathrooms (i.e., a toilet and a shower behind a locked door). They have hotel mattresses, new beds and private bathrooms. Each bunk has about 12-15 campers and 3 counselors. Most buildings also have a lake-view lounge for socializing with friends, participating in group activities, and winding down after energy-filled days.

Lifelong outcomes — skills, friendships, and values campers take home
Our campers go home with new cooking, fitness, arts and sports skills along with a commitment to kindness, healthy living, and joyful Judaism that will stick with them for years after the experience. Campers make the closest friendships with other like-minded kids and teens, and then end up with a network of friends and colleagues for life.
Camp setting — 560 wooded acres in the Pocono Mountains, private lake
Camp Zeke sits on 560 wooded acres in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains. We are deep in a Pocono Mountain forest, so our community is private and removed from the hustle and bustle of life outside of camp. We have no public roads running through camp, no bridges to cross to get to the lake. Camp Zeke is its own little world. The centerpiece of our site is the pristine 60-acre spring-fed, glacial lake.
Olympics (Color War) — blue vs. yellow with athletic and creative challenges
Olympics is one of the most memorable experiences at camp for both campers and staff. Each session there's a specific theme, the camp splits into blue and yellow, and then the games begin! With all the activities, traditional events, teamwork, sportsmanship and ruach, Olympics brings the whole camp together through a shared goal. Competitive challenges are both athletic and creative. We have whole-team relays, a famous silent lunch, team banners, and songs and cheers that our neighboring camps can hear.
Camp leadership and senior staff — founders know every camper
Our senior leadership team has been with Zeke for years, and the camp is run by its founders, who know every single camper and staff member. The leadership and senior staff are great. The food and attention to nutrition are so appreciated. The facilities are modern, not rustic, and completely within the spirit of a traditional summer camp.
Camper growth and independence — parent perspective
Camp provides a safe space to try new things, navigate relationships with new friends, make independent decisions, and grow grow grow! Parents frequently tell us that campers mature more in six weeks at camp than they do all year in school.
Culinary arts program — cooking, baking, nutrition, and food safety
Our hands-on classes allow all campers to learn how to make impressive dishes ranging from appetizers and entrees to smoothies and desserts. Our cooking program emphasizes diverse and healthy recipes. With an emphasis on healthy ingredients, gluten free options, and unique grains, campers bake breads, challah, desserts and more while learning about the technical aspects of baking. Campers also learn safety skills before diving into the culinary curriculum — knife skills, safe food handling, proper storage, and cooking on clean surfaces.
Daily photo updates and parent communication — parent review
From a parents perspective this camp is amazing! The communication has been excellent during the entire process. I was able to see photos of camp life every day while my kids were there and that really helped me to be able to see how much fun they were having. This was our first experience with a summer camp and my kids absolutely loved it! They can't wait to go back again next year.
