What a great summer. The staff was amazing and I always miss my summer home and all my camp "sisters" during the winter. I can't wait to return to my summer place in 2011. The food was great all summer and the staff were incredible. Loved our trip days and all our co-eds with our Indian Acres Boys. This camp is like no other in the world. You should come here. Go Green!

Forest Acres is an amazing place, at first i felt nervous because i didnt know anyone but the girls made me feel welcome there. There wasn't that much cliquey-ness if thats a word but anyways, i've been going for three years and im pretty sure i know where i wanna spend every summer for the rest of my life. This is the place to be, the counselors, campers, admin, everyone there is just a pleasure to be with. It is definitely worth 8 weeks and its cost. The food is great, the activities are great, color war is brilliant, i love my team! And its just such a great place to send your daughter, to all you haters, negative commenters, yeah, you guys, its not FA's fault you didn't have a good time, its your own cause you didnt allow you to be yourself, thats what FA's about, and if your don't feel like being yourself, then you might as well not say such absurd stuff about my summer place! Anyways i can't wait till next summer, log 1 2010! i miss you all!

Everything at F.A is simply amazing. The girls + staff are like my family, they are amazing. Food is delicious, activities are great, tradition is amazing, overall it is a captivating experience. FA we couldn't have asked more! SENIORS 08'!!

This camp is like the best camp in the world. i couldn;t go this year because i had to go to a academic program so i did not,but i wish i could. If you go on the website you can see how much fun you can have there. Only 1 summer and i could finifl go. and we all know you'll be back.FAC FAC FAC FAC FAC FAC FAC FAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! forest acres is the best camp a person could work ro be at. if you want your child to go to a camp recondmend forest acres. the people are nice and the food is great. you may be far away from home or not but it is a great experience.I have been going there for 4 year and that was the best four years of my lifge i cry when i leave camp and i am happy when i getto camp.People say that forest is the worst camp ever. No it's the best best best best camp in the world.If you like to meet people from all over the country and world go to Forst Acres camp for girls. some people may write bad comments about forest acres because maye they miss thier parents or maybe the person was mean in the cabin and people did not like her so they proboly didn't talk to her to make her even madder. so if you don't like forest acrs don't write bad comments write about the good time s. because there are never bad things about this camp. You may get in fights with your cabin mates but that's part of friendship FA

FOREST ACRES IS THE BEST CAMP EVER! i like cry all the time at home cause i miss it soo much! i defidently recomend it. A lot of people think its overpriced but i dont think so. A lot of camps are around that price anyway. But if your looking fot a summer camp i defidently think that you should go to forest acres. It's full of fun and tradition,

FOREST ACRES IS THE BEST CAMP EVER!!!!!! You know everyone there and your cablin mates become your sisters. The facilities are great, they have a fully equiped gym, a fitness center, a ropes course, a softballl diamond,a pool, basketball and tennis courts, beach volleyball, a stage and a driving range. This camp is amazing, the staff are great, there is lots of personal attention when you want it and the girls are your sisters and best friends.

My child cried every day, they were horrible to her. The facilities are gross- in her cabin the floors were almost falling out. Think first before choosing Forest Acres.

I recommend this camp to everyone! Whether you're coming as a camper or a staff member, the community at Forest Acres welcomes you into it's family. The traditions that hold the memories of FA are what keep this camp going strong year after year. Seeing the campers form the close bonds that are only possible at a summer camp is priceless. Leaving in August is one of the hardest things to do and makes everyone wish they could stay year round.

I love this camp, and until a few summers ago i had never been to any place quite like it. It's hard to put into words the type of experience you have when going here...but all i can say is that FA is absolutely captivating, enriching, and completely enjoyable.

OK there really is no way to possibly convey to you how INCREDIBLE this camp is and how much it has changed my life. You can truly feel comfortable with yourself here. I was new, but the girls in my cabin welcomed me immediately. I had best friends in 2 days after being there. Everyone at FA is accepted right away by the other girls, it doesn't matter if you are shy, outgoing, etc. Really, one of the best things I have evr done in my whole life. LOG TWO!!!!!

forest acres is an amazing place. i've never been somewhere where i've felt more secure than camp. ALL of my best friends now are the people i've met at camp. the councelors are amazing, and they're involved in everything with the campers. these girls are my sisters. i would do anything for them. the staff do everything they can for the girls to have a fantastic summer. if you like sports, this camp is for you. if you hate sports and you're into the arts, this camps for you. if you like a variety, this camps for you! there are co-ed activities, so going to an "all girls camp" isn't meaning you won't see guys all summer. we love our traditions that have been going on for decades. Forest Acres is a camp nothing like anything else. Everyone has an amazing time at camp. At the end of the summer, we all cry. we're leaving our sisters. FOREST ACRES YOU'RE AMAZING. LOG ONE 2008!

We love this place. Our daughters both have gone to this camp for 8 years. Staff and administration are wonderful and caring. They make you feel as if the entire family is at camp. I highly recommend FA.

Forest Acres has shaped my life. I've grown up at camp and I would spend the rest of my life there if I could. I've met some of my best friends at camp. It's truly indescribable. The camp is small enough that you know everyone and by the end of the summer, you are a caring community. FA IS AMAZING! =]

Here is my story, I was a young 10 yearold. I looked at numberous camps. I found FA and imediatly fell in love. I arived and was TERIABLY home-sick. I did not have fun and none of the counslers were even nice to me. I was in Cabin 5 and the tolet was NOT secure, and the bunk was not clean. That was my not so wonderful experience at FA.

Forest Acres is my home away from home. I have experienced the best and worst times there and has made each one of my summers more special. I love FA and I am so excited for this upcoming summer, especially getting the chance to be in Log One 2007!!

Choosing a camp for your son or daughter is a massive decision and should never be taken lightly. You need to be assured that you child is going to be safe, cared for, eat well and experience something special. Well I assure you Forest Acres is nothing short of MAGIC!!. I was lucky enough to experience a summer along the Sarco River and have done everything possible to get back to Maine and Forest Acres every summer. The unique spirit that FA fosters encourages every camper to try their best and step outside their comfort zone, all while knowing they are in the constant care and support of others. FA encourages girls to have ‘Strong Minds and Gentle Hearts’. Thanks F.A for all the love, support and strength you have given. The pine trees will be forever in my heart and I can not wait for the day I can once again ‘hug a pine tree’.

FA is my home away from home. The friends I have made there are my bffs 4 life. I can't wait till summer 07!!!!

FA has been my summer home since I started as a 9-year-old camper in 1996. I was a camper for 7 wonderful and enriching years, and was lucky enough to be a counselor for one summer in 2005. Though not everyone can live at camp forever, the lessons I learned there are with me wherever I go, and camp will always be very dear to my heart. The people I met there over the years are still some of my closest friends in the world, and I am very lucky to have them still in my life. Forest Acres is a little oasis hidden away in the beautiful backwoods of Maine for a giant family of lucky and lovely young girls from all over the world. Any girl who is lucky enough to attend leaves strong, emboldened, wonderfully happy, and prepared for a lifetime of challenges in the outside world. These trite ratings really can never express the value one summer spent in humble Fryeburg, but trust me, as a camper and counselor, it's as good as gold.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE FOREST ACRES MORE THAN ANY OTHER PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD! I have made so many wonderful friendships there; I know I wouldn't be who I am today without them! From the incredible girls who go there year after year, to the fantastic staff and scrumptious food, it is my home away from home and i love it to goodness!

I fell in love with this camp during my first summer as a counselor many summers ago. The girls who attend this camp have the opportunity to expand their minds, gain new skills, as well as to develop lifelong friendships, not only with their peers, but with counselors as well. I have maintained friendships with camp friends both young and old for many years, many of them friends living in different parts of the country as well as all over the world. I would be hard-pressed to find another environment where I not only feel as though I make a difference in the lives of others, but where I have also been so affected by those around me. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be able to return to Forest Acres year after year, and hope that my children will be able to be a part of FA in the future. Filled with tradition and spirit, Forest Acres offers everything you could ask for in a summer camp and more.

I have the amazing oppertunity to spend my summers away from home at this summer place, there is no where i would rather be. Each summer is an amazing expiernce, making new friends and learning new skills, that if not for forest acres I wouldn't have. This is a camp based on tradition, love, and friendship, not compitition. I have been a camper for 12 summers and each of them has turned me into the caring and loving person i am today, I have also been a CIT which is an amazng expiernce that teaches you leadership skills and patience, and this summer for the first time I will be a counsler, so finally, i can give to my campers, showing them what its all about, caring about them and being there for them, just as all my counslers did for me. If you have the amazing oppertunity to go to FA or IA or send your kids there, dont pass it up, it is the best expience anyone could ever have. Thanks FA.

Forest Acres is a wonderful place for children and adults to learn and grow. Over the years I feel it has given me far more than I can ever give in return. The friendships I made at FA have had far more influence on my life than those made elsewhere. I met my wife at camp, we were married in Fryeburg by a friend we met at FA. For the sporty child its a slamdunk, for the twirly, its a great place to get a groove on, and for the musician, like me, it is nothing short of inspirational. I am forunate enough to live only a drive away from Fryeburg. I often visit in the winter just to see if the campfire is still flickering, or to listen to the tall pines as they echo the children's voices singing in Tip Top. If you do send your children here for a summer, arm them only with a smile and a desire to be a part of something special....the rest will just happen. Pinky.

Forest Acres (FA) is all about 'family'. From the youngest camper to the oldest counselor, everyone is loved equally. There are numerous activities offered so girls can both improve their skills and pick up a few new ones as well. Counselors #1 priority is to the campers, and all genuinely care about them. It's a fun, friendly, safe, and clean environment that everyone who attends gets hooked on.

I went as a camper and a counselor, and FA is "one in a million." I'm 23 now, and my best friends are still my cabin mates from FA. I think the person who gave FA a bad rating is the same person rating it over and over again, and probably has bad social skills and poor hygiene and maybe couldn't make any friends?? Not sure, but I've never before heard anything negative about FA. My kids are going there when I eventually have kids. My whole life I always wished I could explain to people how amazing my camp was, but it's so hard to describe. I did try another camp at one point...Robindel...it was NOT good in comparison. FA far exceeds all expectations. Your kids will be so active and creative and happy and make so many lasting friendships. It is such a valuable and enriching environment, and really helped shape me into who I am today, and gave me such confidence. Whoop, whoop, whooooopies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This camp is the best thing ever invented! Each one of my summers has been outstanding and I wouldn't replace it with anything!The campers and counselors are so great and my best friends are from FA! The activities are soo fun and if I could I would like to be at camp year round. I am now going for my LOG ONE 2007 summer and I am soo excited!!! CAMP IS MY LIFE AND THIS IS THE BEST CAMP EVERRR!!! I love Forest Acres. It is my home away from home. I live 10 months just for 2!

Forest Acres is simply the best camp ever. It is a loving community that lets you be yourself. The activities are great, and the facilities too. But the thing that really makes camp are the people. At camp special bonds are made, you build the most amazing relationships, and your cabinmates soon become your sisters. I cant imagine what life would be like without camp, it has really effecteted me in the most positive way. I love you Fa! and girls, i miss you like crazy! 104 DAYS TO GO!

I LOVE FA!!!! The girls I have met there are my bffs for life!!! We have SOOOOO much fun doing all kinds of activities or just hanging out in the cabins during rest time. I love the people that work there, too! They don't treat us like little kids. They listen and try to help us all the time. Bert is the best!!! And she helped me one time with something that was bothering me and I'll never forget it. I can't wait till summer 07!!!!!!!

FA FA F-O-R-E-S-T A-C-R-E-S! This camp is amazing. I love it. When we're not at camp, my friends and I are always trying to get in touch and talking about how much we want to be at FA. My best friends are there, and the best times of my life are there. I wish I could go forever.

This camp is the worst camp EVER!!! i dont get how any1 would like it here. I went for one year and by the second day I wanted to go home. FAC you SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOREST ACRES CAMP IS THE MOST HORRIABLE PLACEI HAVE EVER BEEN TO. THE GIRLS ARE SO ABNOCTIOUS AND I HATE THEM ALL. THE COUNSLERS ARE ATLEAST 1000 YEARS OLD AND THEY MADE MI SUMMER MISERABLE. IT IS THE WORST CAMP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND ALOT OF PEOPLE AGREE. SO THATS THAT.. FORST ACRES YOU STINK

You become so close with everyone and everyone at Forest Acres is friends no matter what. The boys are amazing and so sweet and no camp is better.
