Activity philosophy — skill development, not competition
The program at Lake Greeley Camp is designed to incorporate anyone who wishes to be involved in any activity they have an interest in, even those activities campers would never expect liking. We focus on the fun of the activity to draw in the camper's interest. The program that is the basis of every activity at Lake Greeley Camp is focused first on learning and improving skills whether from Level 0 to expert.

Activity program — 60+ activities, elective choice for older campers
Campers at Lake Greeley Camp are divided into three divisions: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior. Juniors follow a cabin schedule, moving from activity to activity with a counselor and their cabin group. For campers entering 5th grade and above, we offer a 100% elective program. Campers choose from over 60 activities for their six daily periods, allowing for a completely personal experience based on their interests.
Adventure course — 45ft tower, 300ft zip line, ropes course
Challenge yourself, build confidence, and reach new heights under the expert supervision of our safety-certified adventure staff. Start on our 15ft traversal wall to master footwork, move to the 25ft sport wall to hone speed and technique, and finally conquer the 45ft climbing tower. Our High Ropes Course sits 45ft in the air! After navigating the elements, finish your experience with a flight on our 300ft zip line.

Evening activities — nightly events, special events calendar
When the sun goes down, Lake Greeley Camp comes to life! Our evening activities seek to make every night fun and unique. Whether they be dances, athletic events, shows, or skit nights, there is always something to look forward to. This summer's lineup includes: Halloween Social, Las Vegas Night, The Amazing Race, Dodgeball, Game Show Night, Greeley Idol, Biggest Splash Pool Party, Theater Productions, Mission Impossible, and much more.
Purchased by Mike and Arline Buynak in 1959, the camp has been a family affair for over 45 years. That same individual attention and love for children continues today with their son, Matthew, and his wife, Rosemary. Matt has spent every summer of his life at camp—as a camper, counselor, activity supervisor, and even a dishwasher. These varied experiences provided unique insights that prepared Matthew and Rosemary to take over as Directors in 1988. For them, camping is a full-time endeavor and a family affair, having had three children attend the camp themselves. Matt and Rose are at camp every day, actively involved in ensuring every child has an experience that is fun, safe, and truly amazing.
The cabins at Lake Greeley Camp are fully featured with electricity, showers, sinks, bathrooms and lighting fixtures in both the main cabin and bathroom. The cabin itself is a common living space with each person having their own area or bunk. Our cabins are a 'home away from home.' Modern and spacious, they feature complete bathroom facilities including showers, sinks, and toilets with hot and cold water. Each cabin is equipped with electrical outlets and screened windows for excellent cross-ventilation.
