Pineywoods' recreation includes a 3-story Adventure Park with over 50 elements, dual 500-foot zip lines, a 65-foot Giant Swing, a 40-foot 3-sided Climbing Tower, a water park-style pool with zero-depth entry and slides (available May–September), canoes and kayaks on the lake, 3 basketball courts, 2 covered and lighted pickleball courts, human foosball, gaga ball pits, drift trikes, dodgeball, volleyball, 9 Square, soccer and softball fields, fishing, a playground, and hayrides (October–March).
Pineywoods is a place where lives are changed, a place where people come to escape the everyday rush and to seek God. Pineywoods exists primarily for the purpose of providing a suitable environment for Christian worship, training, discipleship, evangelism, and recreation for the churches of participating Southern Baptist Associations. The staff serves together to create a distraction-free environment where people can encounter God.
Whether you bring a group of 20 or a group of 600+, Pineywoods has the facilities to accommodate you. Our dorm capacity is 850 and growing, and we have multiple motel facilities. We also have over 14 meeting rooms that hold groups of various sizes. Each dorm and conference room has a modern-rustic feel that enables our guests to have a 'getting away' experience without giving up the familiar conveniences that make life a little easier.
