Lake Greeley Camp is wonderful!! This summer will be my son's 6th year at LGC and my daughter's 3rd. It is a fantastic, safe camp that has provided so much to our children over the years. They do a great job of transitioning, especially for first-time campers - pen pal program, first-time camper guarantee, etc. There's so much to do that it doesn't occur to the kids to be homesick. The facilities are very nice and are on a continuous rotating cycle of renovation so that there's something new or newly renovated each summer. The counselors are wonderful and many return each year. My kids try new things each year that they would never do at home: last summer, my son tried the trapeze for the first time and my daughter learned to ride a skateboard. The personal growth is immeasurable-they've gained so much self confidence and independence by being away from home in a safe environment that encourages them to make good decisions. I highly recommend LGC to anyone looking for a fun, safe camp!
I love Lake Greeley Camp! I have been going to this camp for 3 years and every year is better than the last. I have made friends at camp that are going to last me a life time. I had went to a camp a year before I decided to come to LGC and I hated it. I was extremely nervous to come here. On my 1st day of camp I made friends with all of the girls in my cabin. These girls are now some of my best friends. You also make friends with the guys at camp. During the school year I look forward to going back to camp sooo much! I look forward to seeing all of my friends, doing give it to me one time at meals, and just the craziness of camp! The activities at camp are so much fun. Their are activities for everyone. The counselors at camp ate amazing! They are so much fun and really make you feel at home. The cabins at camp are really nice compared to other camps. I miss camp so much and cannot wait to go again next year! 18425 <3
nothing but good things about greeley. i loved going there. the best ummers of my lie were sent there. you make ew frinds as soon as you get there and eeryone excepts you. i am now 16 years old andtoo old to go back. i have been going there sinc i was about 6. now i am ****ing down the days till i ca e a conculsor there. i would recomend greeley toay kid of age and gender. yo make friends from all around the world. the staff is amazing too. the bynaks are very nice and so are thre kids. i miss greely alreadyand i just left about a week ago. greely=home away from home. This camp was truley amazing! this was my first time at sleep away camp and it was a wonderful experence. I only wish i found out about it when i was younger. I am 15 so it was my first and last year sadly.I met so many people from the US and internationally. i had a wonderful time i was only suppose to say 2 week sbut extended my stay to 4 weeks. i would reconmend this camp to anyone of any age! As a parent who sends their children to this camp every summer and is very happy doing so I must respond to the last unfair review. In our experience all the staff are fluent in English, roughly half the staff are not American but from countries such as Australia, the UK and South Africa so to say there were language issues is compete rubbish. The food is what it is: summer camp food, it is never going to be as good as home cooking. My children had no complaints over the food, activities or staff and i would highly recommend this camp to anyone. The staff we have come across have been fantastic, caring and responsible individuals.
